Would you guys trade in a 2003 360 Modena for a new Bentley Continental GT?

I'll take the 360.. I already own a 4dr car

 

Drove the new GT on Sat. What a rush. The engine is so smooth even with the twin turbo's. The throaty exhaust is also great sounding. While this car was one of the first to be delivered, I was still a bit disappointed about the fit and finish. Regardless if you have the trans in tip-tronic or auto, it is still very quick and a pleasure to drive, however I kept grabbing the left paddle while reaching for the turning stalk. Once the initial hype is over, and the car can be bought at a reasonable cost, it would be a great addition to a fleet. I am not sure I would trade the 360 in for one, but it is a good alt for a MB CL65.

 

I guess that would depend on what your dad wants out of the car. They are obviously two VERY different cars. If you want a nice touring car, with endless options and supreme comfort, obviously the Continental would be your choice(out of the two). But me, I would rather have a sports car than a touring car. 360 all the way.

 

Tell you dad to go sit in the corner for even thinking about it.

 

You can't get the Bentley with a manual gearbox so I wouldn't even consider it. Plus, it really is a GT and I prefer driving a sports car.

But I agree -- it does have a satisfying exhaust note!

 

If I own a 360 I wouldn't even think about it. Nothing against the Bentley...just not for me. (Am sure it's a great car)

Keep your 360!!! The Bentley is more for like old people.

 

I'm an "old people", but I'd still keep the 360.

 

I would take the Bentley in a second, especially since the 360 is due for a replacement soon. Much more usable car as well. If he has gotten the pure sports car out of his system it is the way to go.

 

No way a 360 for any Bentley or anything else unless another Ferrari.

ABSOLUTLEY NOT!!! My self (when i get actually drive) will be a "track day" guy, who has a car like the 360, 360 CS, and all those types of F-cars meant for the track, Even though I would love to have a Bentley GT, I think I would buy a 360 before buying a Bentley GT.

 

Nope. The 360 looks 10x better. That Bentley GT just looks bad in my opinion and does not have a manual gearbox. They are totally different cars. That Bentley would be a nice everyday driver for someone that could afford it. Me personally, I am going to stick with the Ferrari out of those two. Just my two cents.

I drove one last week and although the Bentley is a truly impressive looking car, there is absolutely no way that I would trade my 360 for it. Besides, I think it would look pretty silly on the track.

As a second car, 4 seater -- sure. Awsome sound, great power, drives great and best of all GVWR is above 6000 lbs. Maybe the more appropriate question is .... would I replace my wifes G wagon with a Bentley GT ? I will have to try to get that one by my wife.

The Bentley is heavier than my Cayenne Turbo. It has more HP than the Modena also.

 

360 is just way tooo sexy!

 

I'd keep the 360 (or trade down in years if it is about $$) and add either a 645 or one of the CL's.

All Bentleys and Rollers are fat, the Continental is on a diet but stil struggling.

Ferraris are svelte, with the slightly overweight 456 and its replacement showing middle-age bulge but still beautifully designed. Design, design, flair and design.

Why go for a Bentley that says to other cars, look I've inflated my self-importance with more metal than you ?

 

It's not my thing yet in life. The person I bought my Diablo from, is getting one and the salesman says it will put down numbers similar to my 360!!
