Aside from your Ferrari (if you have one), what other cars do you currently own? Also, what are you on a waiting list for or plan on getting anytime soon?

Aside from my 360, I own a 2002 M3 cab (SMG). I'm near the top of the list for the Aston Martin AMV8 Vantage, which should be coming out in a little over a year. I'll get rid of the M3 when that arrives.

I think a thread like this has come up several times. I have a 525i and a 993 C4S and I'm the kinda guy that keeps his cars for a long time. Although I've been advised to put down my name on the 360 replacement I haven't done it since I plan on keeping the 360 for a while and haven't changed my mind (yet?)

2002 M3 SMG!!! Great car!! Is that your primary daily driver?
Aston makes is a beautiful car. That should be fun.

As for me a other cars in the garage: 2002 Jaguar X-type (I got it for my folks), 93 Dodge Stealth (bought it brand new in college, and have driven all over the western US in it, 142,000 mi, as good today as the day I bought it), 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe AWD ( Company car, I like it, I drive a ton for work and it is super relaible comfy and even sort of fun, the SportShift trans makes it a little fun on a good road during my travels)

    Now departed from my garage:

2000 MBZ S500 (fast and comfy)
    1980 MBZ 450SL (Modern Classic)
1994 Ferrari 348 spider (Fun, till the the repair bill came, long story)
    1986 Porsche 944 ( High School car)
1982 Porsche 911sc (bad idea, Impulse buy)

    Incoming:

    98-00 Porsche Boxter

I have a boring Escort ZX2 and a '71 MGB. The MGB is still the chrome bumper version and is a blast in the twisties... though I'll lose to an old man on a bicylce down the starights. I'm finishing up a resto on it. Nothing fancy but I've taken the motor out and rebuilt it (only about half of which I did on my own, college takes up time) and given it a paint job. It looks ok but is far from a show winner its a fun driver and thats about it. I'll post a picture of it eventually.
When I get out of college I'm hoping to sell the MG and get a Porsche 911 SC, then a 308 GT4 (though it'll be a slower car) and slowly move my way up the exotic car ranks... thats the plan atleast.

If you don't mind me asking, what was wrong with the car? Was your car crummy or the whole line?

The 911 line is great, I just got a bad example. My fault I really didn't do my homework. I failed to get an inspection prior to buying the car. There is a lot to watch for on these but I got caught up in the moment and bought it

    Nice lineup you had!

Yep, the M3 is my everyday car. I absolutely love it. I had a '98 M3 several years ago and wasn't planning on getting the newer model when it came out, but after seeing it at the auto show, I put my name on the waiting list and had to have it. I know I'll probably end up getting the new one when it replaces the current too.

Not to deviate from this thread. I drive a 2002 Silverado 2500 HD with a 340 hp 8.1 liter Duratec engine and my wife drives a 2000 Audi A6 Avant (w/ our 180 pounds St. Bernard in the back).

allanlambo - Would love to hear about your cars. You'd love my brother. He sold his 355 a couple of months ago. He got the call from Motorcars Intl yesterday that his Gallardo should be here at the end of this week or early next week.

acw - How do you like that GT2? I've always wanted to drive one, as I've heard nothing but good things about it.

BTW, how modded is your 355 Spider? If it's been talked about earlier a link, or general direction, will be perfect too.

Very nice. I gave strong consideration to an '01 Diablo, but decided to pass for now. I like the Murci, but I don't think it's worth the $300k it costs. I'm eagerly awaiting a chance to drive my bro's Gallardo. I sat in one for the first at the recent Detroit auto show. I wasn't impressed at all with the interior. In fact, I thought the nicest thing about it was the alcatera roof, but the rest reminded me of my friend's A6.

    Jeff,

I really like the GT2. A lot of torque and power, very reliable, not very visible. Basically, think of it as an X50 911 Turbo with no training wheels. Yet, with the factory suspension setup, the car understeers and is quite easy to drive.

It is a great car however, the PCCB (Porche Carbon Composite Brake) brakes are not very good on the track, especially when driving long sessions.

The 360 CS rotors look the same as PCCB despite the fact that Ferrari claims they are using a different technology. However, the CS rotors are a lot larger than the GT2 so I'm hopefull these issues won't happen on the CS/Enzo

    Aside from the F355B,

    1) '03 Saab 9-3 (wife drives)
    2) '97 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 (98k miles)
    3) '01 Volvo S60 (going back this week as the 3 yr lease expires)

I am figuring out what to replace the Volvo with, if anything. I am more than happy to drive the truck around but there's something nice about a car. At the same time, the truck is cheap to use and I'm not going to lose my shirt whenever I decide to sell it.

I am very intrigued by some of these new sedans, though. The S60R, upcoming S40R, M3, S4, are all cool but I think that I would be just as happy with a Mitsu EVO VIII.

Then again, maybe I will buy my wife an SUV and drive the Saab for 3 years. Who knows. I will drive the truck every day until I make up my mind.

I also have the two Ducati 998s (street bike and race bike) and I have an Ecosse Heretic on order.

I also ride my bicycle to work on nice days.

Just picked up this sports saloon to tool around in. Independent suspension, power steering, manual 4 speed, detuned E type engine. Any guesses?

Very nice Jordan... my guess is an early 1960's Jaguar Mark X sedan. I have its original sales brochure from 62 or 63 which states it has the XKE's 3.8L DOHC motor rated @ 265hp.
