It's red, tan, 19,000 miles, one owner. I can buy it for around $62K. Is this too much?

Too much if it needs a major service.

About right if the major is just freshly done.

    How's the dash?

    Are the cats on it?

    Any window delamination?

Is it on it's original tires?

Based on what I've seen of actual TR pricing (rather than asking prices), that seems too high, even if the major has been done. However, there aren't enough details about the car listed to really tell. If it was a pristine example, and had absolutely everything that you wanted, then the price may be fair, meaning that you should be willing to pay more to get the exact car that you want. I would expect somewhere in the mid to upper $50s for a well sorted '89.

Please bear in mind that this advice is worth exactly what you paid for it.

    I agree w/ ecadwell.

I looked at a 1986 before I bought my Mondial t. Here was the low down on it:

    1986 Ferrari Testarossa

    Red with black leather interior
32k Miles, New clutch and belt service in 2002
    Books and records, Tools
    Sale priced at $50,988

Dealer told me that a strong $40's figure would buy it, but I declined & the Mondial t won out.

Forgot to add that's with 16" wheels. For metric 415, some (significant) deduction required.
