Either a Sharknose or a 250GTO, Id flip a coin. But since I'll never have either (1 doesnt exist anymore and 2 costs around 10MM), Ill gladly take one of these: Mandelli TBO. I have no info on it other than its Italian and it looks like the Cizetta Moroder with a facelift. I want one bad. Anyone have any info?
After marveling the pictures and just a few minutes ago having the opportunity of seeing the car in the flesh at FoH (Thanks Dale and Joe), the 575GTC would be on top of my list. yep, I am a track junky.
250 gto or cali spider. anybody with a checkbook can buy a mac, or an f50, or a zonda, or an enzo, no matter how nice those cars are. but to get one of these 2, you have to have serious bucks and be taken seriously by the community - or you just won't get one. no drug dealers or rap stars on these owners lists.
Any Grand Prix car from the last 10 years. Oh, and a circuit to run it (them) on. Any of these cars is in a different league to the ultimate road car (whatever that is) and would blow your mind.
Ford Pinto ...go ahead and try to buy one of those! Where do you look for them? Autotrader? Good luck! Ford Pinto the ultimate collector car
besides the formula cars, id take a 1989 25th anniversary Countach in yellow witht he wing, creme interior and no ugly ass american front bumpers the hummer is second on my list, i have wanted a Hummer since i was 10, way before all the rappers had one and everyone jumped on the bandwagon
65 E-type Coupe 612 Scaglietti 288 GTO 67 Corvette 427 69 Hemi Dart (factory lightweight) Auburn Boattail Maybach All of the above please...
Alfa Romeo 8c2900B. There is no finer car! How many cars can say they have exactly the same engine as their companies F1 (er, equivalent) car of the time, the P3. Plus gearbox combined with the differential (ie. a transaxle), all independent suspension and over 140 mph performance back in the late 30's. Makes a F40 and McLaren look like a pussie cat. Pete
But how many can say a de-tuned version of the street car was used to win Le Mans? The Mclaren F1 is the finer car!
I can't believe nobody has said the "Mach 5". (I always wondered how a race car could carry that much weight in gimmicks -- not even counting the kid and the monkey in the trunk.) It would be difficult to pick just one favorite car. But for sunny weekends, I wouldn't mind tooling around in a 250TR60. For "daily" use, I'd need a hardtop - like the 330P4. But the "best" Ferrari ... ... is the one in your garage.
