I don't know much, but here's a start: There are 4 or so in the US, so they can be imported. None are for sale, from what people here at Fchat have indicated. There was a thread with some kid BS'ing he was going to buy one.

Auto Salon Singen, one of the largest European exotic dealers has a few available: http://www.autosalon-singen.de/Fahrzeuge_RecordView.cfm?PageNum=1&marke=Pagani&modell=&select=0&languageID=GB

Prices are running $465,000 USD for the "S" to $685,000 for the Cabrio.

And if you order one from the factory you can get it in clear gloss finish to see the carbon fiber, which would be awesome.

From all accounts in the various British Car Mags, they are the best handling and most refined supercars on the planet. They handle like a go-kart, and have accleration on par with anything except a McLaren F1, Enzo, and possibly Carrera GT. There was a great write up on one by Winston Goodfellow in Sports Car International a few months back. Gordon Murrary creator of the F1 was very impressed with this car.

I read the same thing. Interestingly, but only partly related to this thread, I also read that the suspension system of the Pagani and Koenigsegg were developed by the same person.

Thank you for the photo nonetheless. Pagani is a great character in addition to his car. I hope he makes it. He supposedly has a new car to replace the Zonda with the next generation MB 6.3 V8 from AMG delievering close to 600 HP.

Onlinesys, I am not sure, but am speculating that your specs on the DTM are in response to the mention of the new MB 6.3L V8. The DTM's blown 5.5LV8 is no defferent than the current SL, CL, E 55 etc. engine. The new MB 6.3V8, which will hopefully make it into the speculated new "baby" Zonda as reported by EVO magazine, is of a totally new design and not related to the DTM motor.

    Hi Mark,

It's probably the same engine as the current SL55, E55, CL55 but is totally different tuned with a lot of torque and Power.

    More photos!

Your are right, all of those MB "blown" engines are virtually the same but tuned for different applications i.e. E55 or SLR etc. It is a lovely car and I would love to get my hands one, perhaps more so than and an SLR.

However, I was simply trying to determine the link betweem your mention of the AMG DTM in relation to the ZONDA. I don't see any other than the fact that it is powerd by AMG spec engine.
