    Who is going this year, and where is everyone sitting. After many many years we are switching to the hair pin turn. This wil also be the first year we are flying vs driving. The TR will stay in the garage. A 5 hr drive with a bumb shoulder did not appeal to me, but I will miss having the car there. It adds to the fun.

    This will be my 2nd Montreal Grand Prix. Last year we sat at the hairpin, grandstand 24 I think. This year we are trying the gold section, grandstand 1 to see if it's worth it.

    it seems like the seats at the hair pin corner would be really a good place to watch the action. did you like these seats last year?

    This year I'm trying Grandstand 11. I've heard if you get a good seating position you can see them enter the corner and then accelerate away down the straight. We'll see! I've tried 31 and 33 in the past and they had good action, as well as a good view of the of the river/seaway (and a nice sea breeze on those hot days!).

    Since it was my first time, I have nothing to compare it to. However, it was a great time. We saw the cars come down to the hairpin very fast, break very hard, and then start to accelerate. Overall they were good seats, but this year I want to see the cars flying by!

    Im in section 33l. The past couple years I've been in 31 (Casino Hairpin), but we decided to have a change this year. It should be awesome, maybe I"ll bump into some of you folks.
