Hi Lucas: It looks like you have all the "angles" covered! Thanks for the great pictures from Mosport. CS stripe or no stripe, which do you like better? All that RED without the stripe is sort of like a blank canvas... CH
lol..yea jay, I think me and my Friend saw every bit of that country side! Thanks for the compliment rounder, I am the "official photographer" for the Viper Club of Ontario, but I have never taken those kinds of pics of Ferraris before! I think I like the CS with the stripe, just because it is something that sets it apart from all the other 360's. If you see the stripe, you automatically know its a CS, where without the stripe you can't really tell unless it is stopped! Lucas
I think that is the point of not having the stripe! Sleeper...if you can call a 360 a sleeper! I didn't think you were there long enough to take all those pics!
I think i ended up being there for about an hour or so, minus the 5 min in Roberts car!! here is the gallery i uploaded all the pics to. http://img71.photobucket.com/albums/v216/Scarfone/Ferrari%20Track%20Day/?start=20
Lucas, It was a pleasure meeting you and taking you for a ride. A good time was had by most (except for the 348 owner). On that subject the smacked 348 was the product of slipping on freshly laid coolant by a 355 that blew a hose. Damage was not too bad. For all the 348 enthusiasts out there, the yellow race 348 you see in the pictures is the VERY LAST 348 produced by the factory. I know the owner well and he really laps quite fast with it.
Great pics Lucas, I'm happy you actually made it out and had fun. I didnt even remember the event LOL You know that old 308 GT4 in silver you see in the background of a few pictures, do you have anymore closer up. If I am not mistaken that is my customer. Very nice guy, he is a big bearded guy! Not sure if you remember but was that him? That was the first of only a few Ferrari's I have sold. It would be nice to see it again, he said he bought it to screw around on the track, you should see his collection of cars! Vasco.R
There's a good chance that G.Alloy 360 spider is the same one I spotted on the Gardiner a few weeks ago. Looking good there, Rob! Nice pics, Titan.
what about this rear bumper?...shouldnt there be some slots in them like most of the 355's i have seen?.... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Excellent pictures Lucas - thanks a lot. Not one 550 or 575? - strange. Speaking of strange, I have never seen a PCA sticker on a Ferrari before!
Sorry Vasco, I was only there for a very short time so I coulden't get pics of all of the cars! You should come out to the next track day, i think it is on July 7th (I think). In the hour I was there I had a BLAST! It was amazing to see and hear all of the amazing cars!! What other cars does that guy have in his collection? I'm sure they would be pretty nice if he can go out and buy a 308 GT4 just for the track! JOEV, I unfortunatly did not see any 550/575M's at the track! Although on the way up there I spotted a silver 550 Maranello zooming by in the opposite direction! Lucas
Yes it may be him, where did you sell the car and I'll tell you if it's him Don't want to make public anyone who wants to remain annonymous! It's silver with red interior and it didn't have original rims when he bought it.
Yes thats correct J., it wasnt sold with the correct wheels. It was during my days at World Fine Cars. It sounds like you know the car. It wasnt bad but needed some work, and this gentleman has the money and want, to fix it the way it deserves. He is a very big guy which is the reason why he bought that model because he wanted a 308 but coudnt fit in it. Him and I were in the GT4 during the original test drive and he was still blasting it even though there were two big guys in there LOLLL too funny. Anyways, he is a true gentleman and the nicest guy you'll meet. It was a pleasure selling him his first Ferrari considering he has many toys. And Lucas, can you look into this weekend because I think there is another Ferrari meet somewhere here in Ontario. My best friend who works at a local dealer was talking to his customer who brought in his 365 Ferrari to get ready for this meet this weekend. I would like to go too but my friend didnt get the details the bastard! Does anyone know what's happening? Vasco.R
I'm not too shure about any Ferrari meets this weekend! Although there is a HUGE car show this sunday, put on by NoyZ BoyZ exaust systems. There are going to be over 300 different cars there, so maby he is going to that show? Other than that I can't think of anything else. Here is the flyer for the show: Lucas Image Unavailable, Please Login
The Briar's is this Sunday morning at where else...The Briars! North of Toronto, it is a laid back concours. Vasco that's him but you wouldn't recognize him, he's lost all the weight and he looks fantastic! I didn't recognize him after not seeing him for several months.
I think there will be tickets for sale for the challenge and vintage races. And if you are a FCA member, there are packages available for the weekend. lecircuit.com or contact sabrina at FoQ 514-340-9188
Exactly... There will be tickets for sale on th site went entering the circuit Mont-Tremblant to see the cars racing around the circuit. And whenever there's a break between practice, qualiying or races you could cross the other side of the circuit so you can go behind the pits so that you can see the cars up close. There's many Ferrari road cars too ,brought by Ferrari owners.
Thanks for the reply guys! Actually I'd be more interested in watching road cars going around the track, like a DE event or something. Like so many others, I have this fascination for Ferraris and I'd love to watch and hear a bunch of them from different generations in their natural habitat, a racetrack. I've been a backstage viewer at many PCA DEs and loved it, obviously watching F-cars would be somewhat different.. Any ideas? Regards, Bruckner
There will be road cars all day Thursday, lapping with and without instructors. Fri and Sat lapping again and practices for challenge and vintage and Sunday is race time.
You have to be a FCA member to go see that? right? All I know you can buy tickets for the 25, 26 and the 27 of June but for not for the 24.
