    Anyone know where to get the 2 rear support struts on a 78 512BB?

    Most of the newer cars (400i and newer) have Sachs-Stabilus as OEM. I don't see the 512's in their catalog, but you should be able to cross-refence and find an exact replacemnt. http://www.sachsna.com check out their site and give them a call. Also McMaster-Carr carries a wide range of lifts that you can look through to find a suitable replacement. http://www.mcmaster.com/ Good luck!

    Also, I would ask F.Parker and HenryK as they've probably been there before....
