    Kung Pow: Enter the Fist is a truly terrible movie. Sadly, they are making a sequel.

    I have only walked out of two movies in my entire life. The first was 'Ghost World.' After that, we walked into 'Jeepers Creepers' and walked out of that as well.

    Mine has to be ShowGirls. Yes lots of boobs floating around, but not even that could save the film. Walked out of that one. Next has to be Dude weres my car and that basketball movie "Bounce" Just horriable.

    btw, I sat down and read 'American Cinematographer' during a showing of Showgirls, that was really bad or the Michelle Pfeifer movie where she is a teacher in the city and is totally predictable.

    Interesting. I liked the movie a lot. In fact, the director, M. Night Shyamalan, is currently one of my favorites. He's also done Sixth Sense and Signs, and I liked them all. For what it's worth, 28,600 viewers on Internet Movie Data Base (www.imdb.com) gave Unbreakable 7.1 out of 10, not too bad.

    I think the ratings on IMDB tend to be overly generous. I beleive they have ratings for something like 18,000 films. Of those, ONLY FORTY-EIGHT (48) have a score below 3, on a scale from 1 to 10. To me, that's ridiculous.

    Even taking that into consideration, a 7.1 is far from "worst movie I ever saw" territory.

    Yes, that's true.

    If I remember which film that is (Bruce Willis survives a train wreck, right?) I'd give it a 4 or 5.

    BTW, I usually only vote on IMDB on (somewhat notable) films that are either better or worse than I expected. Three I gave "1's" to are American Beauty, Perfect Storm, and Titanic.

    And I never vote on a film so bad I walked out on it. To me, 1 is too high a score for such a movie. Moulin Rouge was in that category.

    All the Highlander sequels were awful, with III being the worst.... Sweet Liberty was my all time awful movie, since I saw it at the theatre with Alan Alda... What a POS movie for such an all star cast..

    Are you saying these movies are bad? I am offended! :)

    There are movies that are bad!
    There are movies that are really bad!!

    Then there are movies that are good because they are so bad. Ed Wood's movies are in this catagory.

    In grad school, we had three of these shown in a row and you got in for free, but had to pay to leave ($5 before the second movie started, $3 before the third movie started, and no charge if you stayed till the end) :)

    I've never walked out of a movie yet...hell I paid for it!!! But there are a few that tempted me to walk out and demand a refund:

    - Raising Arizona;
    - Police Academy V (what was I thinking??!!);
    - The World According to Garp;
    - Star Wars (Phantom Menace)..my wife fell asleep during this one;
    - and pretty much anything with Barbra Striesand!!!
