That was amazingly cool video and that commentary was HILARIOUS! I especially loved the "I view Ferrari as a scaled down version of GOD!" comment. I was rolling laughing with that one.......I think I see a new signature for me! :)

I posted that because you talked about your friends racing at Le Mans and why they run GT3s.
I have owned nothing else but Ferraris for 14 years prior to that Porches from 16 to 19 years of age from 944 turbo to 928s to 911 3.2, just the other day I bought a 996turbo. I don't know the magic of it because the love for Ferrari cars is beyond me its blind love and a lot of other great things where the Porsche is a more logical thing. The Stradale its got everything the Porsche does and more but for $100,000 less the Porsche is the true winner, it may not have the soul, sound and that exotic smell after a nice drive but in reality its a better buy. Now knowing me I don't care about that because I would rather own a Stradale even if it was $200,000 more than the Porsche but at this time I can't buy a Stradale. Also I gave up on buying a GT3 because for me a 966tt is a better car. Don't mind my thinking because lately I don't even trust my own judgement.
As above so below just don't hurt yourself.

Definitely the most memorable Stradale video... damn that guy is funny. That smile he gives after noting the RACE button... bwahahaha... I think we pretty much see eye-to-eye on the Stradale.

Great video... thanks for pointing it out... SPEED really needs to get that show as a regular feature...

    <list of great lines deleted>

I started to write some of my favorites, but then decided they might be spoilers for someone reading this while waiting for it to download... don't want to ruin the shock factor of some of his lines... hilarious.

So are you saying the course is different from when the tested the Zonda and Merci?

I find it hard to beleive those two cars are faster than Zonda when the Zonda weighs less and has WAY more HP.

The circuit seems to be the same but the driver has changed. In general it's not a bad comparison but as with all comparisons there are too many variables. Just look at the cs/rs video, there are a number of points that we see where improvements can be made and that ignores the things we don't see.

As far as the Zonda/CS is concerned I'll be driving for 5 days in three weeks time and there will be a Zonda, Konooniggggggsssegsgg, Lambos etc tagging along so I'll let you know what my thoughts are and I'll try to be as subjective as I can

Was the Stradale in that video Rosso Corsa or Rosso Scuderia?

I picked up my CS at the end of April and picked up a GT3 last weekend.

After driving both vehicles I can summarize my experience with the following anology.

The GT3 is like the smartest girl in your high school class while the CS is the prettiest girl in the same class.

Which would you like to be hanging out with after the dances are over?

    I pick the CS...hands down.

The video is incredible and for those of you who actually own one or both, enjoy! I can only work and wait.

I do find it interesting that no one has pointed out the (to me) odd fact that the Merc/Mc SLR is first place! And first by a couple of seconds. That's very impressive. I just wonder about that car. It seems to me that the SLR gets little recogization from people, yet it is an awesome car. Just curious about how everyone else felt considering the bicering over the Muri and Zonda.

Brian should you ever feel the urge to let some random person in the DFW area come ride in your CS... just email me, I'll by lunch.

It's on once a week hear - Sunday evenings 8 - 9pm. This is the third year I think and doesn't show over winter.
I never miss it but have to admit that not every episode is as good as last Sunday with the 360CS v GT3.
I hear the Porsche GT is on tonight though.

You can't take Top Gear seriously.

These are the same jokers who declared, on another episode, that Honda should stop building the NSX-R (an absolutely stupendous car in its own right) simply because it had become "an engineer's plaything" owing to the fact that it had gone through exactly the same weight-loss program as the Porsche and Ferrari.

If they want to be perceived as being authoritative on things automotive, they should develop a conscience and stop being so hypocritical.

Well, as long as they are hypocritical in a humorous and Ferrari-biased way, then they can continue as far as I am concerned! ;)

Trying opening the link first, playing it on Windows Media Player in its entirety (could take a while, even if you're on broadband), then saving it from the Media Player window.
