What? Commie! Raising Arizona is brilliant! "Yeah, the joint is a lonely place after lockup and lights out, when the last of the cons has been swept away by the sandman. But I couldn't help thinking that a brighter future lay ahead. A future that was only eight to fourteen months away." Image Unavailable, Please Login
Kazaam is one of the best movies ever, its sooo old school 90's. I just watched the 3rd lotr movie. My god, it was the biggest POS movie ever.
I loved that movie! Some people just don't get it. It may be that I'm a comic book fan, but I still think it's a great movie. Very subtle, with a slow, nice building story. Great ending!
GATTACA, another great movie, with a great message. This WILL happen someday. Maybe not in the extreme shown here, or in my lifetime, but it will happen.
Tork said, "Groundhog day" Man thats one of my fav's I loved it. The worst move was monster ball. Halley Played a ho and had sex with billy boy, God Trailer trash city.
just watched another terrible movie......The Blob awful just awful why who thought of that script i dunno, i guess the 80s were a troubling time.
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, Groundhog day was great... I watch it anytime they televise it when I'm bored...
Highlander 2 was pretty damn awful. Walked out of Bulletproof Monk with Chow Yun Fat. I thought AI (Spielberg) was brutal, and I went into that one with expectations.
I see a lot of you mentioned "Moulin Rouge" and "Star Trek V". I thought they stunk too. The last 3 Star Wars movies - horrible. Third installment of Lord of the Rings was a letdown but not a total loss. It was too overwhelmed by special effects. There hasn't been a decent James Bond movie in 35 years. I've hated lots of movies but I think the worst ever was "The Goonies".
I have never walked out of a movie, but I walked out of Lord Of The Rings on both of the first two movies. Geek-Poetry was just going on and on and on and on..... ( just STOP TALKING and start the battle!). I got things to do, places to see, girls to chase. We just couldn't take it any longer.
Glad to see so many people hated "Moulin Rouge". When that movie started, I thought the first 5 minutes, then 10, then 15, then 20....HAD to be some kind of a dream sequence, and that the REAL movie had to be starting soon. That WAS the real movie!!! Awful.
My GF got mad at me because I wouldn't even go to see it!! I told her that I would take her to the theater but I would watch a different movie, or wait in the car!! She didn't talk to me for the rest of the day. I still hear about that one to this day!!
Not sure how true to the original the latest version is but the original Blob was written and made in the 50's (with a very young Steve McQueen???.) Scared the hell out of me! (Yeah, I'm that old)
I agree with you Tom. The movie is self indulgent to those that wrote and made it. A genre that is only great to those that were into the project. I made it 20 minutes and turned it off.
It was so slow, boring and predictable. It had such a fascination with bodily fluids it should have been called URINA. It is two hours of my life I'll never have back. I don't think it will happen, ever. As long as people have instincts, they will continue to water the flowers the old-fashioned way and too many janitors like in the movie would result. Thought of two more, comic book characters must be difficult to adapt to the screen. The Hulk: absolutely unwatchable POS. Whoever decided on the chopped-up split screen style should be ran out of Hollywood permanently. Spawn: No story would be fine if special effects could carry the movie. It's is too bad that the SE are so bad it was like watching a video game, from 1990...
First off, I agree with some of the following: Unbreakable sucked. Signs sucked worse. Hulk was god awful. Secondly, my roomate and I are on the quest for the worst movie ever made. We've seen quite a few bad ones. We checked out Gigli, which was NOWHERE close to the worst movie ever made. We saw "you got served" while bad, not worst material. We saw some movie called space jacked, that sucked but far from the worst. Same goes for fear dot com. Ladies and gentlemen, the worst movie as declared by me and my roomate is dot com for murder. Just so many things were so wrong with this movie and it put so much effort into it. Either way, while small, my roomate and I are offering a $10 reward to whoever can lead us to a movie that isnt porn that is truly worse than dot com for murder.
yep, they must have spent all of $13.95 on the CGI parts or maybe they just filmed a couple of old computer sims
Bill Murray was a genious in Ground Hod Day compared to Lost in Translation. Holy crap! I tried watching it twice on video and fell asleep both times. I've got to say the best movie ever was the Big Labowski. "Dammit, I don't roll on Shabbas."
My wife and I settled the thing about movies along time ago. We: -Agree and see/rent the same movie. -Disagree and go to separate movies at the same multi screen theater, or rent our own choices and watch on separate TV's. -Do nothing.
Plan 9 From Outer Space. You need my address? Interesting to see "Fargo" mentioned by Spasso. Go join that other Coen-Brothers-hatin' Commie (2nd time), ya pinko!
There is a rule called, "The 30 minute rule." If you go to a movie and come out within 30 minutes....they will refund your ticket. Good to know for movies such as these. DL
