Now that I filnally got the TR dome light apart, where do I find the replacement bulbs?? The dealer was of no help.... I can't tell what the replacements are for the dome light & small spotlight. Any one know how to solve this riddle?? Thanks

Attached are the dome lights & the burned light pictured is the small spotlight on the roof of the TR.

    Dear Ferraristi,

This may sound dumb, but have you tried taking it to Discount Auto and matching it up yourself. They do seem to have a good selection of bulbs.

Jerry -- Check page 96 in the TR OM -- it shows those ("in roof") bulbs as "Cylindrical" and "10W" (at 12 volts). That's the only type of information I've ever seen F put in the literature regarding the minor-function bulbs.
If you can match the form-factor and that power rating, then per Shamile's recommendation you'd have an equivalent -- are the usual suppliers being unreasonable $-wise for replacements?

    Dear Ferraristi,

    Dear Dale,

    What's a pence? :)

Seriously though, the pictures show individual bulbs in the roof light. I thought it was some sort of flouresent unit. Was there some change in the production run? Mine is so dull, I really want to change it.

    Dear Ferraristi,

Well, I took my dome light system apart as well. The unit was also a collection of 10w bulbs.(91 Testarossa ) Crap!...none were burned out. The light unit is that dull! I think it is to do with the double lens. Underneath the tinted cover is another white cover. I am going to buy some opaque lens material from home depot, cut it to size and see if that makes things better while still defusing the light from all those individual bulbs.

Even cleaning the bulbs made no diference. :)

I can find the right size & wattage, but that particular light seemed to have a magnifying effect on the end which I couldn't find. I finally just replaced it with a regular bulb.
