Here's a few more pics of the silver F1 at my house
Stunning......absolutely stunning. I love the interior snaps, great job! Do you know how fast the owner has taken it?
Alex, those pictures (of my favorite car EVER) are fantastic! Any chance of getting hi-res copies? Thanks much for posting! p.s.: Why is it that there is an icon for thumbs down, but no icon for a BIG thumbs up????
Great pictures, thanks for sharing. The F1 is still to this day the most stunning exotic supercar just because of how it can perform and the records it broke!
Thanks so much for those pics... those are the best detail pics of the F1 that I've seen... and I watch for them (its my dream car).
Peter told me he was timed in S. Africa at 328 km/h (approx 205 mph). Not a speed trap, a deserted road where you can do that kind of driving. He's seriously thinking of taking the car back to S. Africa (he lives there most of the year, restoring old Alfas), because there's no roads in the US where the car can be driven at close to its limits. Track driving is fun but doesn't allow for sustained ultra high speed blasts.
I think up in Montana theres no speed limit. I think on I-90 or I-80, the speed limit is what you see safe.
He bought the car in Germany from the the original owner, several years ago when Mclarens were not legal to import into the USA. He went through a long process to have the car "federalized" and the shop that did the work was in Newport Beach
Great pics, I really like the pic of the interior where you can see those wonderful pedals and steering wheel. Thanks!
From what i understand though, you can still get pulled over for excessive speeding and when facing the judge, you need explain why you think your speed wasn't unreasonable... Still a lot better than 55, though...
Why did someone put that car up for sale? BTW, I love Ferraris but i think this is my Favorite Car of ALL TIME.
