I was surprised at first that 308s had fiberglass floors. I later learned that Ferrari has been using fiberglass for a long time.

How thick is the material in the floors of 308s?

Is there any extra bracing around the seat runners? (It doesn't seem like it.)

    Thanks in advance,

    Matt

The fibreglass is only there to keep the dirt out. It offers no structural function. The seats mount into steel cross frames.

To answer you question though, it's about 2mm thick

Thanks, Phil. That's exactly what I wanted to know.

Well, mine has globs that rub thru the carpet, they are thicker!
I left them figuring they work as strengthening ribs.

You can unscrew the snaps that hold the carpet and see thru!

If it delaminates its obviously thinner! HTH
