An ok turnout today...nothing super unusual today. That blue 360 was BEAUTIFUL in person...pictures just dont do it justice! Sean and I had to leave early to go help out with the casting auditions my brother was holding for a film of his over at Chapman University so we had to miss out on the Marconi Museum...or so we thought. We finished a bit early and Sean had the bright idea to stop by the museum with only 30 minutes left being closed. Although rushed (and the lack of space on my memory stick didnt help) the museum was great...I will definitely be heading back to get some more pictures. Sorry for the lack of quality in the ones today...the lighting inside was slightly dim and it was hard to hold the camera steady...so unfortunatley I ruined a few ok shots Thanks Sean for letting me drive your REAL Mustang today...Quite a treat!! You gotta send me that picture First of two sets.
Last few... BTW, while Sean and I were hanging around Chapman University we got slightly bored...so hopefully you dont mind the couple of shots of a chunk of the Berlin Wall we stuck in there
Hey all, Jerry, DL, Rick, Jordan, it was a pleasure to meet you all. I'm glad that I can now put faces to the names of you F-Chatters. I hoped that you all enjoyed the Marconi Museum. It truly is an amazing place. I enjoy every trip that I take there. Darth550: "160 on Edinger was a blast as well, no?" Yes, our jaunt down Edinger was amazing! That was way cool. I love your car man. Thanks again. Well I hope to see you guys soon, and have a good one. I will have to take a trip down to Crystal Cove one of these mornings soon! Best, Jeff
Jordan, you ahve a talent for photos. Some of the pictures below are absolutely stunning! Like the porsche tail pict, some of the blue 360, etc. and ****...that's what a clean black 550 looks like?? --Dan
Great pics, man! lol was your hand shaking from seeing all the cool F1's at the Marconi Museum? gotta love the blur shots, but yah just IM me later and I can give u my mustang shots, im not subscribed as of yet, so i can't post pics. Like I said Jordan, anytime, i can help you out man.
Great photos as always, Jordan. That 360 is beautiful - do you know just which blue that is? The yellow calipers really pop too. Cheers Kevin
I was hoping Jordan would know for sure rather than debate it via the photos. Frankly, darth, I agree with you regarding the TdF but it isn't Monaco blue either. It MIGHT be blu Le Mans though - right country, wrong race course?? Cheers Kevin
I didnt ask the owner even though I was talking to him at one point...sorry! I will if he is there next week. I purposely darkened a couple of the shots of that 360, but in person it didnt seen quite as bright or vibrant as TDF, it was a very very deep blue. Gorgeous color.
More TDF examples....just as different. DL PS...regarding lighting, one is in Los Gatos, CA and thew other is in Salt Lake City, Utah.
I guess I should settle this debate on the color. Jordan, I guess that was you I was talking with at CC while you were taking the pictures. Since I own the car and ordered in TDF, and since the paint tag says it is TDF - I am pretty certain it must be TDF. I think the overcast skies that morning changed the way the color looks.
