Great pics, looks like a good F-car turnout.....so you drove the 355?! How was it? Were you nervous? Did you open it up or ride the brakes?
I drive that car all the time and I love it to death. Little slow for my taste, but its very fun to drive. I didn't open it up much today, he is selling it. It was a pretty good f-car turnout Im sure some of the guys will post.
Wasn't it a great show, Chris? The Ferrari club turn-out was definitely much better than last year's. Apparently about 160 (all marques represented except for Lamborghini) cars were registered. How come you didn't say "hello"? . You got a shot of my red 328 (4th pic from top) and I am the guy "between" the man in the red shirt and the woman (that's Claudia Poertner) in red cap. NIce 355, is that yours? (I thought that was Larry Lipsitz' but I didn't see him there). Mark (Pfeffer), it was nice to meet you. Your Esprit is simply stunning. Was looking for Chuck (Ligon) at the Porsche section but didn't see him. Shelbee, no enzo or F50. Isn't Ron Tonkin in Portland, OR? What a great day...was hard for me to go back to work today!
I said hi to a few people, didn't know anyone and alot of chattign was going on, didn't wanna interupt. the 355 is a detailing customers of mine. he let us take it there to let people know it was for sale.
Hello Ron328, I was there, I talked with Chris, the 355 is very nice. Thanks for posting the pix Chris. I did not have a chance to meet you Ron, maybe you were walking around. Did see your 328 though, it is beautiful. The turnout was very impressive. quite a few 360's. If I'm not mistaken Ian and Claudia had the only carb. 308 there. Met Mark Pfeffer, his Esprit is very impressive. Chuck
Hi Chuck. I was all over the place talking to everyone. 4 hours was just not enough! The Ferrari club was actually surprised at the turnout, ie., there was way MORE Fcars this year compared to last year. What a great day! We're having a track meet at Gateway on July 24...maybe you can swing by or even join. Best, Ron
Hello Ron, Yes it was a great day, thankfully no rain. I thought the Porsches would have been better represented, The number of Ferrari's was great. I do know of the track day at Gateway I am going to try to be there. Hopefully we will meet there, if not before. Chuck
