I passed through Terminal 3 at London Heathrow last weekend and a blue left hand drive 360 Stradale was being raffled for charity. I was running late and didn't have time to stop but I think it was one of those deals where they sell a limited number of tickets at a high price. eg 250 tickets at 1000GBP each.
Does anyone know what the deal is?

I saw the Stradale in Heathrow also. Tickets are 80 pounds each and they are selling 3400 tickets. It is an auction company called "best of the best." They will ship free to the doorstep of the winner.

    they also have a silver 360 modena in Terminal 4 - 75 pounds / 3,000 tickets

I found it interesting how they pick their winner. By going through the site, if you want to enter into a competition, they make you try and pinpoint where you think a ball should be on an altered sports image. The closest one to pick out where the removed ball was wins.

The image size (for the 360CS at least) appears to be 1000 x 703, so 703,000 possible answers. Realistically you can eliminate about three quarters of the image surface when trying to get a rough idea as to where the ball could be. So, the odds become 1 in 188,250. You can get a decent idea where it might be by looking at the player's eyes, but in the end its hard to extrapolate where exactly they are looking at.

At 80GBP a pop it's an expensive guess.

Actually, it's even worse than that - from the "instructions" -

"The same picture is shown to a professional judge and in the presence of a lawyer he marks where he thinks in his professional opinion the centre of the ball should be. The winner is the person who is closest to the judge's position."

LMAO. A "professional" "where the ball should be" judge? Wonder how many years of training is required in the profession.
