BMW-Williams is in 'no rush' to sign a couple of new drivers for '05.

Team boss Frank Williams told a source at the Nurburgring that Ralf Schumacher is 'definitely' leaving at the end of the year, as is Juan Pablo Montoya.

He said in Montreal on Friday that a 'short list' of potential race candidates now exists 'but we're not in a rush to do a deal in time for tomorrow morning.

"We just want to see what our options are," added Sir Frank.

The driver who is on pole position in Canada. He just put Montoya and the rest of the F1 field in their place. Unbelievable!!!!

Yup. Talk about pulling a cat out of the hat.

Although he did win at Canada in 2001.

Yeah, do I feel stupid now or what. Put foot in mouth. True Ralf has done well in Canada twice in the last few years, but this kinda beats the cake. Never expected this.

My bigger question is, what happened to Ferrari? Well, it sure will be an interesting race and I can't wait for it.

Not quite sure what your point is. All this picture really shows is, that JPM is brilliant enough to keep a 900 hp racecar in a straight line at 200 km/h on grass. Not bad.

Poor Ralf. He was robbed by Williams because of their attempt to cheat with the brakes. Now everyone will say... oh Montoya is still better than Ralf. Truth is Montoya will probably drive the finishing nails into the coffin of McLaren next year.

when ralf is on, hes on. but when hes off, hes really off. i really think its a mistake for bmw to get rid of ralf. you know ms is teaching him every thing he knows about F1. I hope he listens.

Listening to Peter Windsor on Wind Tunnel last night, it appears that Ralf has nothing signed with Toyota or anyone else and is actually most likely to return to Williams next year with Mark Webber. This offseason will sure have a lot of driver movement in it. should be interesting and entertaining!
