In the earlier episodes of Home Improvement was that a Ferrari wheel on Tim Alan's wall during the "Tool Time" segment? If so, I remembered seeing the Ferrari emblem in the center of the wheel, where today there is nothing.

Whats the story behind that? Why is the Momo wheel void of a prancing horse? Anyone know?

The original episode was Tim got that as a present from Jill (his wife on the show) It was Andretti's steering wheel from what i remember. It was a D formula wheel.

Ferrari might have not given them rights or something...or maybe someone stole it off the set ;)

The wheel still hangs on the wall void of the orignal priancing horse...Why?

True the wheel is still on the wall it is just void of the yellow insert. If there was a legal reason, why keep the wheel up? why not take the whole thing down.

He also had models there in the living room. A yellow 348 and a red TR I think.

Tim Allen is a car guy, apparently has had a few Ferraris. I respect his turnaround from being a coke dealer.

Yeah, it saw it on TV, and he even talks about it briefly in his book, Don't Stand too Close to a Naked Man. IIRC it was before his break as a standup comic.

    Excerpted from www.IMDB.com :

...he attended Western Michigan University and graduated with a degree in Television Production in 1975. In 1978, he was arrested on drug charges and spent two years in jail. Upon his release, he had a new outlook on life and on a dare from a friend started his comedy career at the Comedy Castle in Detroit...
