    People on the Subaru forums are reporting the same behaviour from those dealers too. They're voiding warranties on any suspicion of 'abuse', which includes SCCA events.

    If you participate in anything, they [reserve the right to] void your warranty.

    Sneaky bass turds. They've even voided warranties under arguments of "spirited driving." But it varies from dealer to dealer, and is the service manager's decision. Some are more open than others.

    Exactly. His dealer isn't keen on helping him out. I've seen ridiculous warranty claims go through just because the guy was a friend of the manager...

    Another reason for me to buy used, get myself a lift and a nice set of tools.:D

    Subaru's vomit there gear boxes and engines all over the road to with no warning,and they dont have to be very old and no track use,
