Earthquake - Is everyone OK...?

Very mild rolling "feel" in Irvine. All is o.k. actually thought it was somebody running around upstairs.

 

There were two earthquakes within 1 minute of each other

A 4.7 very near Edwards AFB (north east of LA)
A 5.1 60 miles SW of Ensenada Mexico.

I am in North San Diego County. I felt a little vibration and the windows rattled.
It was really no big deal.
We have some coworkers visiting from Singapore. That was their first earthquake. Their eyes were wide as saucers. Us natives were ho hum lets get back to work.

The Edwards quake has been removed from the USGS website. I guess it was just a glitch in the software that put it up.

 

Didn't feel anything in Santa Monica. Guess I've just become acclimated to them living here my whole life.

It was out in the ocean off San Diego.....quite a ways out......

I was sound sleep.... besides i dont know when an small earthquake is happening or my neighbour is moving his hughe truck

 

I thought someone knocked into my cube at work - So nothing major here - Just a slight bump.

 

Samething happened to me Jerry. Felt Like I was going to fall off my chair.

I was in San Diego on my way down to Rosarito yesterday about the same time...didn't feel a thing!

 

I was on the 15th floor. (top) @ work
I was chatting online and it shook hard. Freaked me and all my co-workers.
I had a customer in from New York... He said "this is why I don't live here".

 

I'm on the first floor - Are you higher up?

Thanks for the report, I was swimming during the quake so I didn't feel anything (unless the roof fell off)

 

My friends... anyone who's lived through a hurricane or tornado will tell you that 99% of earthquakes are a pleasure to live with!
