My OEM wheels are a little tired from the wheel weights and an occasional curb or two. Anyone ever bought replacement wheels? I need a set and I am leery of having my wheel refinished since I have never been impressed with the quality of any of the local wheel refinishers. Please let me know if any of you have a line on a set of reasonably priced OEM wheels.

Yes, and if you don't get 'em from the UK, you can have yours refinished to like-new for $100-$150 each.

Where did you have yours refinished? In Houston, Texas I have only seen junk.

If you don't mind shipping yours, there's a local place here called Wheel Fix It. (256) 830-9992

I agree...I had mine refinished and you get what you pay for...I paid $900.00+ for all four yet it was worth it...perfect with a nice coat of clear and I had no regrets...I had them done by a local shop here in NJ that restores old Porsches.

Local Discount Tire shops will send them off for refinishing for ~130 a piece. You'll have the set back within two days. (one day ship, one day, maybe two days for refinishing and one day to ship back) Might be even quicker than that. However, it really depends. If you want a great job done, find someone who can blast it and paint match from the finish of the wheels and have them powdercoated. It will look great and hold up very well, much better than the 130 refinishing job. Which.. the refinishing job doesn't do that well with the clear coat. It can fade and bubble at times.

    Hi Eric.

    Here's the deal...

A brand new set of Factory Italian OEM (non-ABS) wheels for about £910 shipped.

    That's about $1663 at today's price.

These are straight from Ferrari. Let me know if you'd like to order.

Thanks for the kind words Kurt.

Call Ernie's Alloys in Miami at 305-687-0028.

They sell used and refurbished Ferrari wheels on eBay all the time....They can redo your wheels as well..

There's a set of TR wheels with tires on eBay now....

Personally I would ditch those heavy factory alloys for something aftermarket ...Unless of course you want to keep your ride bone stock...A nice set of aftermarket wheels will make you car look fab...

    Cheers - VK

I believe that most aftermarket wheels will weigh more than the stock magnesium factory oem wheel. If you up size then you will definitely end up with more weight (17" or something...).

They are pictured directly above...the photos from Ferrari UK. You can also look in any Ferrari book and see pictures of a 86-87 328 GTS/GTB they would have the identical wheel.
