    There is a word that pops into threads in this forum from time to time and I have no clue to its meaning.

    Can anybody tell me what "circa" means?

    I thought it had something to do with the current going prices of used Ferraris like a Fcar blue book.

    Put my mind as ease,...please.

    i guess this can be an "ignorance thread". dont want to hijack this thread...but since circa was cleared up, i have a question of my own.

    i was at the greenwich concours circa 2004, and the license plate on the NNO there said "PROVA M". can someone please explain what this means? thank you

    BTW, "NNO" is an abbreviation for Enzo as far as i understand

    NN = N's = "Enz" + "O" = Enzo

    The Prova plates back in the day designated a car as a prototype still being tested. A "P" is still used on modern prototypes when they are being tested on the road.

    while we are in the ignorance catagory there are a few things that also bug me.

    1. What is a PPI? (I used to know buy forgot)

    2. What is a Forza?

    3. Why would a 348 owner cover the crome horsey on his front grill with a
    license plate?

    NNO = Enzo?

    Not what you'd call a particularly efficient abbreviation!
