    Greetings.

My cousin wants to buy a new red 05 Corvette hardtop loaded with 6-
speed. He wants to take delivery early. I told him to wait for the Z06.
He said next year he will get that one.

Where can he get the car quickly for "less" than MSRP ?

I suppose he would special order the car; if he does not have to wait for along time.

Its gonna be tough to get a new C6 at "less" than msrp. I highly doubt that will happen for the first year at least. But you can always try Kerbeck they are a huge dealership. Or maxie price chevrolet as well.

Once they are in stock at dealers try Costco.

If you're a member you go to their website and set up an appt to view whatever car with a selected dealer who is a Costco-affiliated wholesaler. Usually their deal is it has to be a car on the lot, but the wholesale price they offer is usually invoice.

I logged on to Costco.com looking for a WRX, they sent me to a dealer about 12mi away (who called me on the phone immediately after I requested the online referral), when we got there the pre-negotiated price for Costco members was straight invoice, he showed us his shipping invoice for the car we picked, we bought (it's "no haggle"). I didn't have the patience to try and find a better deal than that, about $2,400 off MSRP.

My friend got his work truck, a loaded Ford Ranger, for $6k off sticker, and he referred his co-worker who got a Subaru Outback for like $3500 off sticker.

You guys are welcome. I had a good experience with the whole process. They don't have many luxury lines in some areas, but always the lower priced marques. Some areas do have Lexus and stuff too though I think.

I work at a chevrolet dealership and we sell around 15+ corvettes a year so not that small and we already have a waiting list over 18 people for the new C6. Good luck
