What would you pay for this house? It has over 13,000Sq Ft. ( I based this on the fact that it is easily twice the size of my home which is a hair over 7k sq. ft.) It has 10 acres of forested land bordering 200+ acres of fed land.

If it was in your region how much would it sell for?

I’ll give you the price as soon as I see a few estimates…

    Well,

My area has a lot of suburbs (DC) and prices can very greatly. Houses over a million are a dime a dozen. I've seen homes on 2 acres and prob. about 9K sq. ft. going for around $2-3.5 Mill. So, I could see someone asking $7-10 mill. Then again this federal land isn't a superfund site is it?

    Hope this helps

i would pay 1 million today but it proably isnt for sale for that,

I have been in 10k sq ft houses here that sell for 1 million, so here 2 or 3 million tops, but i will guess with the land 18.5 million just for conversation sake.

do we win a prize if were right.

In Southlake, TX it would be $90-120 a square foot plus $80k an acre, so I say a little under $2 mil.

I live in pa and i would say, if its the suburbs of Philly where i live it would go for 2-3 mil. Now, there are many factors as well, this area where i live in is dominated by contractors that build enormous developments very cheaply then sell the houses at a high price, i would know this because i live in one. Since its not built by a contractor and is in the woods this would lower the price. now u may be asking ur self how does a kid my age know about this stuff, and my answer would be "beats me" but im confident in my estimate and i dont play games.
