    I stand corrected!!

If indeed this entity is a doctor, that adds a few more years to their studies, as well as an internship. And keep in mind, only specialists and established GP's will command 6 figure salaries.

    The enigma continues.........

    Salut!!

Sorry that most of your time was wasted criticizing and analyzing my personal life, when ALL I was asking for, was advice from some NON-Salesmen.

    Grazie Per Tutto,

Sorry but as a reader of your initial post it seemed like you gave up way to easily and early on your quest to give a gift of a Ferrari. I think that's what made people suspicious of how real this was. If you were really serious in repaying a debt with a Ferrari you should have been open to other F-Chatters advice on what you should buy. A perfect gift is an entry-level Ferrari and because Ferrari does not make a new entry-level Ferrari, used is your only alternative. For $150K you could get a very nice 355 coupe or spider or if you stretched up to $200K a slightly used 360 (current model sold today).

People can estimate all they want about how much money you make but I know a lot of entrepreneurial doctors that make tons of money. If you have the money and honestly want to find a car, PM me.

"Believe half of what you see, and nothing of what you hear."

Maybe it's my skeptical nature, but I just don't buy this story.

Sure, a Ferrari as a gift sounds like a mediocre Hollywood script. However, if you really want to repay your debt, provide him with something (like a nice home, or pay for his education) that will permanently raise his standard of living, not his social status.

i gotta agree with bernie here.... not on all points but there do seem to be a few loopholes in your story.
Even if you story is true.... anybody with half a brain would think of doing some research
very few people in this world just go out an buy a ferrari within 30 mins of deciding
    maybe check the ferrari website
or better yet ... if you have that kind of money ... then you must roam in those cirlces ... and if you roam in those circles ... you would definately know about a ferrari dealership. that is the first place i would check.

You should try my fettuccini with tomatoe, black olives and smoked herring...down that with a good bottle of home-made red wine, followed by espresso and a flaming Sambuca....hhmmmm, I think I'll pour myself one right after this thread.
