Thanks to everyone who came out and made the event what it was. It's nice for all of us to see that everyone enjoyed themselves. The pictures that some of you took look amazing. I was busy running around that day that I barely got a chance to look at some of these cars. I'm in love with the Enzo all over again! I'm sure everyone there won't ever forget the sight of the Enzo screaming up Trafalgar. Also, as a common courtesy, if you have any pictures with license plates, it would be appreciated if you could edit them out (no need to argue about it). Everyone enjoys their privacy, and we are very appreciative of all our Exotic Car Volunteers for offering their cars up for show and rides. The first ever Get in Gear event was a huge success. We were able to provide everyone with a chance to experience the world's best cars up-close, and we raised funding for The Children's Wish Foundation. A win-win situation! On a final note, this will not be our last event Stay tuned to this site, and to http://www.getingear.net/ for the announcement of our next event. Robert http://www.getingear.net
HAHAHAH Those ad's kill me man. I love it! It seems to be the trend those Irish/Scottish and English-type ad's. LOL The ad's are very well done.....they actually have a "nice sparkly tascht!" to them dont they Mujo? LOLL Vasco.R
It was a pleasure even though I was there for a short while. And you couldnt have said it better, people JUST blur the plates and that's it! No arguments nor loooong boring posts about the same crap. I didnt start this great thread for that. There is actually a thread for that already.....look it up! Well said Robert, hope to attend more events and maybe have a good car out there next time! Titan, A license plate number is the equivalent of posting someone's name and address. Classic, I'm glad you had a good time at the event; hopefully you can stay longer at the next one. By the way, thanks for starting this thread and getting the word out on our first event.
Anyone here in Canada know of anyone nice '84 boxers for sale? They must be: -1984 production -red/tan (all red, none of that half red/ half black thing goin on) -low miles (under 10k miles) i've seen some of the boxers in the east, but they aren't that great. Any info is appreciated. Thanks!
I think you're limited to the US market for a top-notch high-quality car right now. why only an '84 and good luck finding a real 10,000 mile option for less than huge $'s, limits your options. good luck.
my dad is currently in the losgatos area and is potentially looking at a nice example for sale. In the past years, we've seen some examples with the specifications i mentioned, but we weren't fortunate enough to snap 'em up. p.s. and we're STILL waiting for our 04 spider to be delivered!! so NO ferrari's in our driveway yet!!!
With no exception, the cleanest original Boxer in the country/world. 2200 miles. Red/saddle interior with ultimate saddle dash/ headliner and daytona seats/red carpets.Every detail addressed, as new.Ready for Show or go. Priced accordingly at $135,000.
Hi, I had a chance to look at your ad, and I've gotta say that your price is a bit on the high side. I dont think this is a fair market price. Recently, there was a similar 84 boxer that was sold in illinois for just under 100k, or less. Their website is www.isringhausen.com. I think one of the members on this board bought them. I remember seeing pictures of it in the classics section. If I offered you 100K cash, in a private deal, would you be interested? Also, are you a dealership? Could you also send some pictures of the interior, and possibly more exterior pictures? Thanks, Chris P.S., if you dont mind, could you send the pictures to this address: [email protected]
The Member on this board was me. I bought the car 6 months ago. the car had a tired recently unkempt look, however what attracted me to the car was the mileage or lack of it, since my purchase at the 100g mark I have sunk a significant amount of cash into cosmetic renewal upgrades .Including all new marker, driving, stop, and directional lens frnt and rear, all new emblems all headlights/driving lights, vitaloni mirrors, wheels tires, grills, horns, mats, wipers etc. all with new old stock ferrari parts.nothing wrong with original pieces ,just wanted the showroom new look to raise the overall magnificance..suspension and undercarriage detailing.total compound, polish wax...30,000 mile check was completed. This car won its class at the greenwich concours 2 weeks ago and won best in show at the Northeast running of the Bulls event last week. This week I am showing at the FCA Hartford Concours. I will have an actual point score for you on Monday. The car shows better than new, as photos depict. The best example in the world of any model will always sell for 20% more than a very good example. I suspect the price of the car will go even higher if it scores btween 96 and 98 points. These cars in their original perfect unrestored condition just do not exist. Pics Michael
Tony, Do you know if I can get in the 24 to see the owners drive their Ferrari? And another thing, do you have a schedule of all the different stuff that will be going on during the week-end? Thanks in advance.
John, I am not sure about the 24th. I would probably yes, it is not a circuit event. The only way in on Thursday is Gate 1. Maybe you should call Sabrina at Ferrari Quebec for more info. As for the events of the weekend: at the track friday; practice day challenge and vintage cars, road cars lapping. Saturday practices in the morning and qualifying in the afternoon. And Sunday is race day. For registered FNA members there are cocktail parties all weekend and a supper and the host hotel. Saturday afternoon there will be a concours sponsored by Rolex, most likely it will be held at the bottom of tremblant village/resorts. Sunday there will be a rally. I, personally have not regsitered for this year's events due to schedule conflicts but I will be heading up on some days especially for Sunday's track event. Take care John.
Tony, we're going to be a small group (Ferrari and Maserati owners) going up on Sunday, want to caravan with us? Bernie "What did the blind man say when he walked by the FISH market? - Is this where you keep the F-Chat b*llsh*tters?"
For Your Assistance, Nick Soprano has 2 512 bbi's for sale, http://www.motorclassiccorp.com,/ http://www.motorclassiccorp.com,/
thanks for the heads up. Do you know the prices on those 2 examples? As for your car, I really think it is one pretty and fine example. Except, i just cant afford that kind of money for a boxer. I think i would have to say my max is 100k for a nice 84 boxer.
