ok, i used the search feature, and i went to the sponsor site. i am looking for a 77-78 308gts model. if that was not hard enough, i would REALLY REALLY like to find one in Marrone. the same color as my car. (*23785*) i can only find 328 models, i would like one with a nice detailed interior, plug wires, ect. i have a bunch of models , but i bought them 10 YEARS AGO!!! am i nuts or are carb 308gts models hard to find!! ( a QV wont work , to many suttle differences) in case you missed my posts here are a few Marrone pics. thank you!! michael.

kyosho makes them, as for the color, there's a company called cavallino models that will custom paint them with the actual or close to color to the original.my friend had one done for his 355 and came out really nice.

Kyosho has by far the best 1:18 model of the 308 I have seen, but is only available in red or yellow

Oh I forgot, the model is not a targa, but it is an earlier 308 like yours. I have an 84 qv myself and bought the model too. Nice 308 by the way.

Hello, sorry to resurrect such an old thread, but I'm relatively new to the Ferrari model world. Anyone know where I can get a nice model of a 308 GTS QV in Black? I've got an '84 USA car, and would really like one that looks like my car.

My car is stock, so there should be nothing out of the ordinary, and I'm not a collector, so I don't want some rare, expensive item, I just want a nice, clean, detailed model I can put on a book shelf or on my desk at work to remind me of my car. (Actually, I have 3 or 4 metal 1:18 models -- all red, no 308s, I don't think -- that I bought years ago and took pretty good care of which are in storage someplace. If I can find them, maybe I'll post some pics...)

I'll obviously check out the below postings, too, but as they are a bit old any new help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Cavallino -- Thanks for the reply. How much do these cost? I went to your website but don't think I saw a price. Feel free to email. I imagine these are pricey (and they certainly are beautiful), but I was sort of looking for something more desk-toy like. Anyway, PM me a rough price if you prefer.

    Thanks!
