here are e few pics of a great weekend at Zandvoort this weekend...
Thanks for sharing this great pics with us! Beautiful & rare cars!!!!! Ford GT 40 & 275 GTB LWB just stunning. Please feel free to post some more pics.
Great pics. I've been to Italia a Zandvoort a couple of years ago. Than, that 330P replica and that old F1 replica where there to. The owner, an Englishman, was saying the whole time that this F1 was a real old Ferrari F1. But the car was fitted with modern tyres, plastic looking wire wheels, disk brakes, a really fake looking steering wheel,...
Hi Niek, Very nice pics indeed. Do you happen to have others pics of the Maserati A6 GCS series 2, especially of the interior? It's a very rare species with its body. It has S/N 2039 and raced at the Monaco Historic race some weeks ago. There it damaged its nose, but as we can see its all repaired nicely. This is a pic of the car when it raced at Santa Barbara 1954. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice pics, Niek. Thanks for sharing... Unfortanetely I couldn't be there because of work... but now we can see and enjoy some of the cars that were there,... without having to do the traffic jam to and from the circuit
Great pics Niek! Unfortunately I couldn't go this year, but at least your pics give a good impression of this year's edition! No Enzo present by the way? Last year there was one, at the Kroymans stand. Maybe this year he used the Enzo's dealer plates on the Scaglietti....? That's Zandvoort's disadvantage... There are only two roads leading to Zandvoort so this kind of events and especially the sunny summer weekends cause big traffic jams. I'm glad I live pretty nearby so I can always go on my bike! And driving home along the traffic jam on a bike after Italia a Zandvoort is always very funny, because then you can tell your friends you have taken over a couple of Ferrari's by bike! Greets
Could not agree more,I lived there for nearly 9 months and daily drove from there to Schipol, getting to the airport was no problem but coming back could often turn into a nightmare, but many happy thoughts and good memories from there(i lived close to the Grand hotel near to the beach)
unfortunately there was no Enzo present this year, but there were 3 beautifull F40's, the 612 scaglietti, 3 275 GTB's, 2 360 CS, 365 GTB/4 (and a competizione), a 250 TR, the 330 P replica, and lots of 360's, 355's, maranello's, 308, 328 etc... This year there were much more Lambo's than normal (around 20 I guess) 2 gallardo's, 5? murcielago's, diablo's and a few countach's overall, it was real fun walking around between all those beauties from Italy! I'm looking foreward to next year
