    Welcome to FChat MOD

I drove a Griffith 500 a little while ago with tweaked exhausts. What a car. What a sound!

Keeping quiet at the mo' because I don't want to tempt fate Tony. IF there are no other delays and the car is here, then you are most definitely on. I tend not to put my hand up for these things unless I know I can do it, then, come hell or high water, I will do it.

As I said at the weekend, this is the first ferrari I've bought new and it's doing my head in; the original delivery slot was December/January.... Spoke to Ajay this afternoon and he told me the GT exhaust for it is due to arrive tomorrow, so I may have to haul down to Egham to give it a stroke (the exhaust) just to convince myself it's all real.

    Kevin,

One thing that has struck me since I have been using this message board and meeting some of the people who use it; it doesn't matter if you are scrimping to run a 308, or your wealthy enough to go and order a CS straight from Maranello, there is no hierarchy here; everyone is on a level status, and your enthusiasm for the delivery of your new baby is EXACTLY the same as mine was for mine. Fantastic!!!

I await with bated breath for the delivery of YOUR car!

    Regards

    Stig

Stig, totally agree! Im in no position to buy a new 360, but going for a cheaper F car doesnt mean i get treated any different. Guys especially on the UK chat side are genuine people who are passionate no matter what the entry level.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

My reason for joining is that I have loved Ferrari's since I was a boy. I remember going to Maranello Sales when I was about 14, they had a red F40 in (screen price £185K!), I stroked the body (it was slightly rippled IIRC), peered through the perspex engine cover and was hooked. Also remember seeing a red 355 when I was a student, souded awesome away from the lights, nearly fell off my bicycle gawping at it. Seeing fast cars has always made me smile :)

Thanks again for the kind welcome, have attached a pic of the tiv for your interest.

Welcome..I couldn't agree more what a nice bunch of people the UK f-chatters are. Some one posted recently that we should consider ourselves 'ambassadors of the marque' in proving that not all Ferrari drivers are complete tossers, and so far you all seem to do it well.
