anyone have cool rooms at their place? hot tubs? pool tables? game rooms? movie theathers? bars, etc. Just would like to see some ideas about places to just kick back and relax!
My whole apartment is one cool room...! Ok, maybe there's no pool table or ping pong table or top of the line home theater, but i've got models galore and pictures and posters all over the place... i also have enough "straight-line" space on the floor to practice my short game... Stop by sometime, we can play Chinese handball* on the side of the house... *Disclaimer: i don't know if there's a politically correct term for Chinese handball, so please excuse me.
My master bedroom had an open bathtub, pretty 'blahh'. I decided to turn it into an enclosed shower with a waterfall. I tiled the side walls and used cultured stone in the center, sealed it with resin and added a 1/2" glass door. It came out pretty cool! Image Unavailable, Please Login
while this isn't a cool room, but more of a cool house, and while it isn't mine, I thought I'd share anyways. here's the main gallery for the house shots: http://www.buymeaferrari.com/gallery/allen1203 specific 'cool room' would be the bedroom/bathroom with open shower and all. these are MUST SEE's, IMO. just too slick. http://www.buymeaferrari.com/gallery/allen1203/00000_047 http://www.buymeaferrari.com/gallery/allen1203/00000_053 http://www.buymeaferrari.com/gallery/allen1203/00000_062 note: Details on the house: John is about 23, home designer, designed and built this house on a piece of land that he bought for a mere 20 bucks. if you want more details, I'll be glad to provide them.
No matter how bad my day was when I wake up and look out these window's I realize just how lucky I am...
Jim, I am sure everyone here agrees that you have one truly amazing home. If you don't mind I'd love to see interior pictures or the view out the back overlooking the water. I bet the neighborhood kids with the bb guns make you somewhat nervous. Congrats!
not sure i want a shower in my bedroom, but those shots are certainly interesting! gorgeous home, napolis! we've got a slew of windows as well on the backside of our home, though it looks into woods, not water. this is one of my fave pics from my desk in the office. it was a rainy day, but lots of woodland friends nonetheless not a "room" per se, but we consider the outdoors just another room (at least when it's not winter!). doody!
Doody, just above the little sapling tree thingies, you can see a reflection of something in the picture... Is that a helmet on, perhaps a counter, behind the photographer...?
DDDDDDDDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMM Nice And Good to know you apreaciate it not like the folks you see on "Cribs" where you would swear they are seeing the place for the first time as they "Show you around.."
Eventually i'll get up pictures of my backyard at some point. it practically rivals the ny botanical gardens in the bronx.
Peter - great work! We spent the entire holiday break painting our new home and I learned to repair some cracked tiles. James, your home is stunning, thanks for sharing
The coolest thing about my house is that is that it is mine.Nothing real special kinda small but its home.
This is the "winter" mode behind my house. This is only about 40 feet from my back door. Image Unavailable, Please Login
If you think restoring cars is a lot of work, try this. It's too much house for just wife, me, and a Jack Russell, but we have fun. Image Unavailable, Please Login
