Anyone up for it? Rain or shine? If so, which day is better for you? I am thinking around 8/8.30 am--pancakes somewhere on the peninsula. Norm? Art? Mr. Robert Afet? Anyone else?

cannot do this weekend... wife's out of town, I have the kids.
Besides the Dino won't want to be in the rain... between the old tyres and the dubious window seals... not a good idea.

BTW, what's a "short blat"? Is it a blat that's not tall?

I'm down for Sunday, probably Saturday too. Let's get breakfast at the moonside bakery again.

Also, Ferdi in his Lambo asked abotu this weekend - I'll tell him we're on.

    --Dan

PS: Norm - you should know all about challenged ... ahem ... heights. :D

Moonside Bakery is at 604 Main St, Half Moon Bay, 94019,

Where are you coming from, Gary? You might be able to caravan with someone.

Rain is great Ferrari weather. We may just have to sit inside the bakery instead of out.

I'll be coming from Los Altos/Palo Alto area, mid-peninsula, getting on 280 NB at Page Mill. Anyone else going to be going by there? I'll be driving a silver E46 M3.

I should be able to make it, too.
I drove my car in the rain last Sunday to dinner and it seemed fairly watertight, for a 40 year old car....
This is why I like to have a 2+2. Very few people would take a SWB out in this weather.

If I had an SWB, you can be sure I'd be bringing it out...so if you've got one you want to donate... :D

    --Dan

PS: Were you driving the car to work today? I saw something silver and could've sworn is was a Ferrari (vintage), but couldn't tell because I caught it out of the corner of my eye. I also saw an Aston DB5 headed eastbound on 92, but I had to get off on 101 to come here...

    CONGRATULATIONS NORMAN AND FAMILY!!!

Still on for Saturday 11-07-2003 8am

If it's dry I may try to make it in something special! (that's not dirty... yes it is...)

It's got no roof though, so if it's really raining I may have to pass.

See you guys at 8! Will anyone be meeting at Serramonte? I'll swing by around 7:30.

    Best!
    Ben.

Vincent- 70% chance of rain tommorow, so I'm not going to be able to bring it as I don't think mark would like me to drive it 200 miles in the rain... I'd probally do it if it were my car though. Heck, the thing's aluminim and glassfibre. Just bring a slicker! ;)

    Here's a hint, it's the rowdy cousin to your buddy's GT40!

Friend of mine has an AC Cobra replica by Factory Five. I've been pestering him to come out with us for the last few runs, he said he'd come this time, then bailed at the last second. He did say 'but you can take the cobra' though :D) Personally, I think he knew it'd rain. Gotta love 450hp in ~1900lbs.

(So, back to slutting around for a fast ride, if you all haven't grown sick of me by now.)

    Next week!

    Best!
    Ben.
