    High Guys,

Contra to speculation I have not smashed the CS.

I had to do the family bit for Xmas and new Year.
2 weeks in darkest Derbyshire - I woun't wish it on my enimies.
I didn't know I had that many cousins and nieces/nephews.
    AHHHHHH!!!!!
The Victorians were right "seen, but not heard".
Well at least you can give them back when there not your own.

That's it. Done. Should keep everybody quiet for 12 months.

So now for the important stuff.

    WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING.
    WHAT HAVE I MISSED.

Have I really got to plough through two weeks for posts.
    Can't someone feel a little sorry for all i've had to put with;
screeming kids, deaf old ladies, too much turkey, pudding,
and god I hate dry sherry and just fill me in with the highlights.

Spider. What ever happened to the CS you were going for.
    Tony, Ben Whats new.

    come on guys cough up.

    Wazza

Oh yeh and Chelsea keep loosing

    Hi wazza,

I'm new here. I see you have a CS. I hope you're enjoying it. Well mine is coming in June from Maranello. I can't wait. Although I'm driving(testing) a CS on Monday for 4 days so that will be the acid test for me.Hopefully it will strengthen by thoughts on the CS. Looking forward to it. I saw some pics of yours in the showroom. it's rosso scuderia I gather as opposed to rosso corsa. That's what I have ordered. I haven't seen this colour in the flesh on a CS yet although I think the one I am driving on Monday will be this colour.
How many miles have you done with your CS? any probs or glitches?
    Regards

    Hi Stradman,

I love the CS definately the best road car i've ever driven.

Done about 1250 miles. just had it's 1000 mile check. No problems.

BTW mine's Rosso corsa not Scuderia.
The Scuderia red is the more orange looking, like the Formula One cars.
I've not seen that colour so can't comment.

The big £3500 question is did you go for the stripe?

I didn't realise that I was chatting to you on the phone while you were still surrounded by your immediate family.

Thought you might to know the outcome and what I ordered:

Black (nuovo nero daytona), stripe, black/red alcantarra interior, black four point belts, yellow brake calipers - did go for the stripe as you see. Collecting car in April from Italy which should be great fun!

    Nice one Robin.

I think the black with the stripe looks wonderful.

Are you going to hang on to the CSL?

And get your son some go-kart lessons to channel that natural talent

    Haha,

Not certain about the CSL although I have decided to advertise it in Autocar this coming week. It's far better than I expected, will give most cars a hard time especially round the bends and has four seats to boot. Difficult to convince Sarah I need to bloody quick cars when I also have three motorcycles that will do 150+ - she's compalining I spend to much of MY money.

You're as much of an insomniac as I am I see

Just so others know what my sons natural talents are:

He's 11 (well 12 a week ago). At the end of October he 'borrowed' my CSL and drove it 25 miles at 10pm at night (dark) along winding, twisting B roads and didn't crash. The real point is as far as I know he had never before driven any sort of vehicle!

I wasn't too pleased just in case anybody thinks I was the proud dad.

I am afraid no. Not bold enough I guess. Anyway, I really don't think it is necessary on a car like this. If it were to say add a second to the accelaration then maybe I would go for it!

Got the car, by the way. Happy as a pig in ****!

That is fantastic! I watch Hull City from time to time if Leeds are too far away, but i fear my next trip to the Capital might be to Leeds vs Leyton Orient!

Warren - and the rest of the crew - I too have returned from a long excile in New York - which involved too much gin, too many girls and not enough sleep.

But I was at the Autosport show on Friday reacquainting myself with all things motorsport, and some beautiful Ferraris. Met with Jonathan Palmer and heared some interesting things about his purchase of Brands / Oulton / Snett / Cadwell.

Joe - thanks for your message about the Challenge cars - will check them out. We had a discussion with Porsche Motorsport about the UK Carrera Supercup - but they're proper piss-takers - wanted £8-10k for a one day test!!! Perhaps they've been talking sales training from the boys in Staines ;-)

I'll echo Warren with a request for updates - what's the news?

    Ben.
