    Hello all
    Iam looking at buying a 95 355 coupe , I know it has some mechanical problems , bent valve and low leak down .
    Any idea what I shoul offer ? They are asking 75k

    not sure in that condition but 75k is what i'd pay for a very clean 95 355 w/ 30k done, records and reasonable mileage, so start adding up repair costs and subtract.

    Its yellow with 20k milies , I think it had some paint work on the left rear .

    Last car that we did that had a bent valve, it ran $20k for the total job.

    The last six digits of the vin are 100488 can anyone tell me anything elese about this car .

    are you planning to do the repairs yourself? if you're going to end up paying a dealer to fix it up, seems like you might as well look for a straight 355. send a PM to martin (or any of the other sponsors), his prices always seem the most reasonable and his reputation is excellent (i've never dealt with him personally but just based on posts on fchat and such).

    There are plenty of other 355's. Lawdy knows how many cars many an F-Chatter passed up on in order to get the right one.
