    Hey guys,

I'm going to be in New Orleans for a seminar starting Monday (1/12) and will be there for a week. I will be staying at the Marriott @ 614 Canal St. Anyone have any recommendations on anything to see (Ferrari related or not)? Also, anyone want to get together? I'll try to check my email before I leave, otherwise you can try me at the hotel or my cell (805) 813-0508.

    Thanks

    Henry Chin

    William,
Actually, it's closer to "Nawlins". :)

    Henry,
I'm not sure what your schedule will be like, but you will already be in the "thick of things" by staying at the Marriott. You'll be within walking distance of the Frecnh Quarter,Bourbon St, Harrah's Casino, the Aquarium, and for shopping ther is Canal Place (Saks,Gucci, etc) and The River Walk (a little bit of everything, plus a pretty cool car/toy store with plenty Ferrari content down near the Food Court). I highly suggest seeing Jackson Square and then eat at either Muriels or The Gumbo Shop. Both are right next to the square on opposite sides. (FYI Muriels = $$$$, The Gumbo Shop = $$) New Orleans is cool in that we have a little bit of everything to satisfy everybody's tastes. You definitely won't have any trouble finding a great place to eat. There is even a great place,The Riverview, at the top of the hotel where you are staying.

I work 8-5 all week, and am nursing a broken finger, but if you get a free night give me a call and maybe we can hook up for a couple of drinks.

Every time I'm the Big Easy I eat at Delmonico or NOLA. NOLA is a short walk from your hotel, on St Louis between Bourbon and the River.
