    I recently saw an ad for a 1/5 Enzo model on sale for 5-6 thousand bucks. All of a sudden I remembered that, in a long-ignored storage locker of mine I've got an assembled metal F40 that's about 2 feet long. I bought it pretty cheaply 10 years ago as a catharsis for a lost girlfriend and it's pretty cool. Any idea what something like that would be worth? I'll have to go over and get it out. Too cool not to have on display.

    It's pretty cool. I stashed all this stuff in there about 6 years ago when I moved into a loft with no storage space. It was a very intricate kit, tons of metal parts and so on. It's been so long, I'm anxious to see it myself.

    I bet it is worth several thousands. Let's hear it from the experts.

    You gotta get started on your basement Ferrari room. This thing needs a centerstage under glass!

    Sounds like you have one of the Pocher 1/8 F40s. Its probably at least worth $500+ .

    Ehhh, not much. Ill give you 50 bucks for it!

    Id say its a Pocher, and around 500 bucks, and soon to be much less, as they are re-issuing the series.

    That reminded me of the time when BBurago first released a 1:18 scale F-40 in the late 80's. For some reason, their first batch was miniscule and suddenly the $20 F-40 model was trading at over $100!! That kind of price spike on a model was unheard of in those days. Well eventually, they did ramp up production and the value dropped to about $30. It was fun for a while though!

    Oh, and I also got the 1/8 scale Pocher model too. Got mine when they were selling around $275. I was disappointed it didn't have the complexity of the regular Pocher models but, hey, it's an F-40 and it still looks cool...right next to the 1/8 scale TR I got.

    it has to be a pocher. btw, i still can't decide wether or not to get a 1/12 f50 or f40, i was gonna get the f50 but then i saw the octane mag test the f40 vs enzo and now i'm leaning toward the f40....

    I just picked up a 1/12 Kyosho at the LA car show. $375. It's about 15" long. The tires come off with a lug wrench and it comes with spare wheel nut pins, just like my real F40 did!!!

    LOL, I don't think it will fit!! But then again, maybe we can get a reducer and use a 1/4" ratchet.......
