    I went to "my computer" and under add/remove programs I uninstalled something........it didn't appear in my recycle bin..........since I've uninstalled it, is there a quick way to get it back or is it gone? Is uninstalling something just like deleting it? Do I need to re-install it from scratch or is lurking out there somewhere.........

    you will need to reinstall the application. When you unistall something it is not like you are just trashing it to the recycle bin it is gone. Sorry I'm sure that is not what you wanted to hear.

    Uninstalls via add/remove don't go to recycle bin.
