Damn... it looks... a little awkward to say the least. Must see it in the metal before I come to a complete judgement though. First impressions is that it just looks too plain in view of the latest offerings from Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Bentley and even Mercedes Benz. I think it will have it's work cut out. I drove a 03 CL55 AMG recently and I thought it was BRILLIANT.. It did everything you could POSSIBLY want as a superfast GT continent crusher.... With the upcoming CL65 AMG I think if the Ferrari comes in at around around 200K GBP then it may look at tad overpriced...
Agree with Manu that it looks very awkward, 'tho those pics don't do it any favours....other pics i've seen look much better and the interior looks very classy...especially like the tan leather ... i'll see if i can find other pics tony
Nice pics tony, personally not my bag, the nose is too long the rear looks kool tho!! Manu you spot on against the competition its got a long way to go, but you know the Ferrari thing, we say tthis , and when you see the Car in the "raw" its a different story. When the 360 first launched I hated the look, and in time it grows on you, **** ive now bought the Spider version, itsthat Ferrari Styling guru< Whats his name pinnaforinnna sum1. haha!!!! I read the engine is placed in the perfect position for correct Car handling, time will tell. Only 2 in existance and 300 produced a yr its gonna be an expensive tipo..
Hi guys, I have to say I am really not impressed with the styling on this car at all. It looks far too sharp and angular whereas f cars tend to have some flowing curves to them that give them a sculptured look. i would be amazed if this car sells well zak
Guys, I have to disagree, the car that Ferrari have produced is the modern incarnation of the original Scaglietti, It's taken so many cues from the original car, the grill is an almost identical shape, the long bonnet, the side scallops, the very short rear overhang, the interior has retro touches too, the air vents and the switch controls for instance. I think Ferrari have done what Ford (GT40 rip off), Merc (New SLR), Aston (DB9) and many others can only dream of, They have designed and produced a tribute car to the past but once again introduced all the modern technology that Ferrari have to offer to make the car handle and perform as only a Ferrari can. I know someone who went to the 612 launch and he said he went with a very closed mind, but when he saw the car his opinion changed immediately - He's now ordered one ! I'll try find you some pic's of the original car and post them so you can see what I mean. Steve Image Unavailable, Please Login

Here's some phot's of the original Rossellini Bodied 375 MM that the 612 takes many of it's styling cues from. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank yooooooouuu, Steve! Man, that's a beautiful car! I'm talking about the 612, of course. and the 375MM. I really don't understand the negative reactions to the 612 - at all. It's all that.
Tom, You're quite welcome, Unbelievably I was in LA 2 weeks ago visiting family, Brother in Law lives in Silver Lake, If only I had known we could have visited the Petersen together, As it was I had to go alone, But I wasn't bothered, They have a great Ferrari collection in there - You Been ? All the Best, Steve
Tony, Out of interest, did you see my post on Foc site, if they cannot answer you they do "just that" i wish my life was that simple.
Joe , saw your last one about no-one replying to anything.....it's for that reason i've pretty much stopped posting there myself.i haven't renewed my m'ship this yr either.i exchanged a few emails offline with dave mcguire about it too.it's a real shame as the site could be great, but the attitude is keep it for proper owners and don't allow the riff-raff in!anyway, better shut up before i get slapped with a libel writ...
