FOC members (particularly Kent ones) Seems like our grumbling has paid off, and that monthly meetings in Kent are now going ahead. More info at.... http://www.ferrariownersclub.co.uk/members/news/index.asp (Thanks to Henry for spotting it, I'd almost given up looking at the FOC website!) It's our grumbling that has brought this change of events about, so I guess we'd better have as many of us in attendance for the first event, or we're gonna look like a right bunch of Charlies. Who's in? Stig
Well done the Kent lads. Only problem with the link is you have to be FOC member to view........ Tony
Tone. Well, it is listed on the FOC members section so in theory, if you ain't a member (or a PHR member I guess) you're not supposed to know. I wonder what interest would it be to a non FOC member anyway? Did you get that email, because the dates in that email from Sally differ from the dates on the FOC website. I'll have to call Sally and Peter tonight to clarify. Slet
I would like to think the Kent guys on here will try to give a good turnout on the first meeting. Im with you Stig, I trust Paul, Henry,Chris, and all other Kent are guys will make the effort???? Image Unavailable, Please Login
See you there! Amazing how all the Kent owners have come out of the woodwork in the last few months!! Great work guys. Paul
It appears on the grapevine that FOC London is also going through changes and that there should be more activities in 2004. If things work out right we could end up with popular regular monthly get togethers in both London and Kent. Hopefully some of the events can be done together for even greater Fcar numbers and enjoyment. Izza
Izza, Great idea, that would be a popular event. However please note the Venue for the 5th Feb 2004 has changed. Please show interest and I shall PM new Location for the FOC regular Meets. Joe
Joe/Izza, I will have interest in both Ldn and Kent meetings, assuming they're not on same date. Can you PM details, pls. Tony
Dudes Who is organising the London FOC meeting, because the FOC UK website lists the organiser as position vacant? Presumably since the decline of RL. I wonder if there is a way of ensuring that an Fchat accolyte gets in for the london seat.... Stig
I will try and make the meet - However it isn't going to be easy to get there for 7:30pm from London!!! Thank Enzo for our fast cars..........if she starts!!!
Henry, If you wanna come down by train straight from work, I can come and meet you at East Croydon, and pop you back there afterwards if it speeds you up.... Stig
Stig , I meant the Kent meet!! As I had a e.mail to say it had changed Venue? could Izza or Tony could keep us a drift on the London ones.
J Sunday 1st at 11:30 at K1, and Thursday 5th at 7:30 at the venue specified on the FOC website. PM for details if yer not a member. London meet TBA pending new organiser I suppose. Stig
Which is the right venue? Is it the one on the newsletter that came through today, or the one on the website?
Hi Guys, Yes the words did get through in the end. I am the Organiser for the West Midlands FOC Group. The Wessex AGO & myself asked Peter what was going on with you guys, so he had to do something about the situation !! So you do need to support the monthly meeting. Best of luck with Kent meetings, you are all welcome to the West Midlands at anytime. Organiser.
Mal I guess the one on the newsletter is the one we use as that has come straight from Sally and Peter. I'll email the event people at FOC and ask them to ammend the details on the FOC website. Stig
I've noticed that on the FOC members website the venue has now been changed, so I guess that must be the one in the newsletter - although I have not seen the latter. Badge
Hi Organiser, Thank you for your efforts, and I look forward to seeing you up the frozen in the Summer. All the best Joe Stig, Whats happening the venues and exact meetying appears to be getting a bit confusing. The 5th Feb is at (The Lion) right, at 7.30 or a bit later for guys travelling from london etc... Joe Image Unavailable, Please Login
