Detroit Auto Show ... No Enzo?

    I visited the North American International Auto Show in Detroit this week and was quite disappointed not to see an Enzo. Porsche had the Carrera GT, Ford had the GT 40, a Saleen, .... and others. However, the show overall was excellent ... very nice and well worth the visit!
    Also, the Ferrari booth was roped off and entry was by invitation only - how do you get an invite?

    The auto show is about what's new; the Enzo is last year's news. Production is sold out, so why show it?

    I think that is wierd. You don't show Enzos to drum up Enzo sales. Maybe they don't have any "extra" Enzos laying around.

    It's not an enthusiast's show. The NAIAS is put on by the Detroit Auto Dealers with strong support from the marketing departments of the manufacturers. In recent years the manufacturers have taken a greater role, but it's still meant to sell cars. The decision to show an Enzo is Ferrari's, but why would they upstage the North American debut of the 612 by exhibiting an Enzo?
