nah, they'll be working on it for a while. so what about that enzo with the black giovanni rims earlier? was that the same one or is this one on tlc a different one? WCC said they're the first to change the rims on it so...i guess we'll see?
they called it a "Ferrari F50 Enzo" !!! anyone else pick up on that!!! thats what the announcer said....and some other guy said that to buy one you have to had owned an F40 and an F50. found a lot of inaccurate info in those short 5 minutes that its been on. anyway, cant wait to see the rims they put on this car.
Most of the time those shows post bogus info. I know it shouldn't, but I get pretty tempered when they do that
OMG I AM GOING TO KILL THEM IF THEY PUT AN ENZO IT ON MOSTER GARAGE AND I HAVENT FIGURED OUT WHERE THE CAPS LOCK KEY IS YET
ok, so i guess the enzo with the black giovanna rims at the SEMA show was a different one? http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=875&goto=nextnewest and... http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1317&goto=nextnewest
Yah I just caught the show. Yah they called it the Enzo F50, what the hell is that. At least they got all the other info right. What the hell are those damn rims on the Enzo. What is the owner thinking?
che disgraziato, changing the rims to giovanna. they are the worst quality rims out there. what junk!
Show is replaying at 12/11 Central on TLC. The Enzo is pretty good looking. Some of the better TV coverage I have seen on it.
they definately ruined the entire car. The owner must be either A. A dousche Bag B.A Porsche man C.AllanLambo D.as someone stated before the ever dreadfull Canadian E.Perhaps more than one of the above.
It wasn't simply putting new rims on, it was making it a 1-lug-per-wheel (F-1 style) setup, instead of 5 per wheel. Of course, with the lug driving the car, that brings it back up to 5 lugs again. The uh, Rim job sucked arse, that's for sure. Incidentally, $650K initial purchase price for select few was quoted - but now going for "two million" according to them.
2 million??? ha the highest prices i have seen are 1.5 for a black black one when i was searching the market.
The Enzo on TLC is actually the same car as the "enzo with the black giovanna rims at the SEMA show". There was only one Enzo present at the SEMA show. If you watch closely during that segment of the TLC show you can see that they actually mounted two different kinds of rims on the car, one style on the left side and one style on the right side. On the left side was silver rims that looked like the optional multi-spoke wheels on the MB SL55 and on the right side was the black ones. Pics of the black ones were posted in a previous Ferrarichat thread. God only knows why they decided to put two different kinds of rims on the car. Come to think of it, God only knows why you would change the rims on this car anyway. Other than the enzo, the show on TLC was just a bunch of people with too much money doing wacky stuff to their already expensive cars. Not that I am jealous or anything.
Wax, You're lug count is backward even taking into account the lug behind the wheel. The stock Enzo has centerlock hubs. That's one big nut to hold on each wheel--a la F1. The guy at Giovanna said he was going to have to convert it to a 5 lug setup for some reason. I don't know if they actually did that or not, but it was obvious he didn't know what he was doing.
What was really disappointing is that Rides is hosted by Jason Priestley of Beverly Hills 90210 fame. He is an avid racecar driver and you would think would have enough knowledge of sports cars to know that the Enzo and the F50 are two different cars. As previously stated the 2 million dollar price tag was also a joke. I would expect this kind of misinformation from the show Ride with Funkmaster Flex.
ha ha ,thats EXACTLY what i thought, what was that guy thinking when he talked about converting from splined to 5 lug using an adapter(i actually said "WTF") i really didnt like the black rims either,(and didnt see the silver ones on the other side) though in the end it looked as if the splined hub/nut was retained... i think it would look killer with a more traditional speedline 5 star type rim though....just my 2cents......... doug
