Sorry if this poll is a repeat of one already posted, I was just wondering what the current group of chatters think. 1. Styling 2. Performance 3. Linked directly to F1 4. Exclusivity 5. Image 6. All of the above 7. Just waiting for the next best thing
This is one for me.I can just imagine getting up on a early sunday morning to watch a F1 race. After a ferrari win hoping in my ferrari road car for a spin.Ahhhhhh.Someday.
I want and will have an F355 in the next couple of year because I feel like the car is a rolling piece of art...I cannot imagine getting to hear the beautiful song of the engine from inside the car....someday soon I would love to ride in one.
I agree, after 3-1/2 years of being wait listed and watching every F1 race. Watching Ferrari winning every constructors and drivers championship during that time. Going to F1 tests, races, and the '04 launch next Monday. I will be ready for my Stradale in May!!! Yeah, Baby, Yeah!!
hello, i live in the foothills up deer creek canyon. i have a carb euro 308. are you in the ferrari club??? i am just wondering if we have met before at area car shows, i usually do the concourse at arapahoe cc in the spring. my name is john. lets ride sometime.
I would say i want to own a ferrari for all of the above reasons. Hopefully it wont be all that long and i'll be able to pick up a 348.
Hi John, You wouldn't have met me as I only recently joined the Ferrari Club. I did have one of my Ducatis at the Arapahoe CC event last year, though. PM me and we can plan a time to get together. I ride my bicycle up Deer Creek all the time.
craftsmanship. it sounds simple, but in todays world, how many people can truely back up that claim? these cars are still handmade, and although there is a little pride in that, most cars aren't. for me, it is a matter of history and pride in being "the best". you can argue what the best is, but you can't deny that ferrari is in the top part of that class. when i bought my first 308, i didn't tell anyone for over 3 months. it wasn't for me to brag buit to know that i had achieved a dream.today, i place the same type of value on ferrari as i place on other forms of art. you are paying for someones sweat and sole to continue the legend. very few car manufactues can also consider themselves as historical artists. ferrari is on of the few. every time i sit in one of my cars, i understand the sacrifice to legend someone made. that is worth far more to me than pride and prestige.
The reason to own a Ferrari is the same reason to own any Italian sports car: The emotional feeling while driving it which other manufacturers can't seem to duplicate. It's something intangible that the German, Japanese, and British marques all miss, no one makes more emotionally fulfilling cars than the Italians. This particularly applies to Ferrari and Lamborghini, whose cars are far more exciting behind the wheel versus say an NSX, 911, or Esprit.
