Does anyone know? The 550 was time at around 61 seconds, so I'm guessing, 50-55 seconds seems appropriate?

    0-200 12 sec. P 917-30. Not bad for a 30 year old car.

I do but I love the one that can be used on the street a bit more. For all intents and purposes 1967 is that cutoff date due to safety and air pollution regs. in the US. That's one reason I haven't gone after a 917.
    My P4 is street legal. A 512S/M wouldn't be.
(Sorry I don't know time for 575 but I think your quess is about right)

You do all know I was talking about the latest 575M Maranello right?

Some guy on another forum said it was recently tested doing 0-300 in about 36 seconds, now if I tell you the Porsche GT2 does it in 40.9, and the Murcielago in 34.2, and the Ferrari 550 in about 61 seconds, how can a 575M do it in 36 seconds flat!

    Clarification anyone?

A Murcielago in 34.2 and 550 in 61? That doesnt seem right to me. Im sure the Lambo will do it quicker, but not by 28 seconds!

    I'm tellin you man..

It was in Auto Motor Und Sport, a well respected magazine from Germany.
    See here...

BTW, the SL55 had the SLR engine in it, 617bhp, AMG was testing it, and didn't know Mercedes lended the prototype SL to the magazine...this explains the quickest 0-300 time. In reality, an SL55 with 500bhp will do 0-300 in 40-50 seconds...so will all the other AMG V8 Kompressor cars...

SO back to the topic, the 575 with 30 more hp than the 550, should do it in about 50-55 seconds?
