I know alot of you spend alot of money on your cars and maintenance.
Do you also save money for your retirement. Are there some of you who
don't have savings but are banking on the social security system. Have
you ever thought that with all the depreciation you have on your cars
and all the high maintenance bills you would be better off investing your
money in an appreciating asset such as real estate.

I for one am driving a Ferrari, while collecting unemployment, and living in a sweet condo in Florida.

I don't actually work or earn any income at all, just live entirely off the system and fleace it for I can.

I plan on claiming social security myself, as well as 3 or 4 other SSNs (checks obituarys)

Mr Green...buying a Ferrari isn't all about worrying how much the car will depreciate....worrying how much the maintenance is going to be each month. But if it is for some people, I think that they should be better off postponing their desire to purchase a Ferrari. One should never dig their own financial grave over a car.

When I turn 60 I'm going to sell my cars for a huge profit and then retire comfortably on the income.

All you ever seeem to ask about is money.

    How much do own
    How do we save it.
    How much do we spend

    Just money, money, money.

It seems to me you have no place on this forum.
You certainly show no interest in the cars.

One day somebody is going to give this guy too much information.
Then find out he's been fleeced..

    I JUST DON'T TRUST HIM.

    GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
    YOU DON'T BELONG HERE.

    Sorry guys.
He just makes me so angry

Money really has nothing to do with loving cars. There are many great cars that can be had for very little money. Buy an old MG. give it a good tune. Take it to the PCH with someone you care about. Watch the sunrise over the Pacific Ocean. Drive until the sun sets, stopping often to enjoy the view and the places you come to. Wealth has nothing to do with money. It's friends, family and fine roads. Lucky people have those. I've met just as many car guys and girls at local cruise nights as I have at Pebble Beach. REAL car guys don't worry about what something costs or what it's worth. They certinally don't worry about whether or not it's gonna depreciate. Don't get angry Wazza. Click on "User CP" and add him to your ignore list. Life's too short to get angry.
