Looking to purchase some for my 88 Mondial coupe with ABS. From what i gather the offset on the Mondy's run +45 to +55mm. These wheels are from a 348/355C. Thanks, Dave
348/355 wheels will fit an 88 Mondial, and look pretty good! 245/45-17 are a better rear fit, but the 348's 255s will fit, I think. Gorgeous car! My favorite! Check my profile to see an 88 Mondial with 17" rims with 215/50 and 245/45 Post a pic if you do it! best rt
While on the subject of Mondials, does anyone know if the offset for an 80 Mondial 8 is the same as later ones, or even better, a good substitute for the Metric wheels? Thanks, Tom
The 3.2 and later Mondials had different offsets (for ABS, first an option, later standard) than the 8s and qvs. There are a couple of good options (I think) at: www.GaRedcars.com Have to hunt a bit, but there is a Ferrari section. I'm partial to the Speedlines, but the custom 5 spoke (?2400 or something) is very Ferrari-ish and would look great in 17". best rt
Russ thanks for the reply. Nice to see all the mods you have done to your Mondy. The Challenge wheels are bigger than stock 355 wheels i believe 8.5x18 and 10x18 in back. Most concerned about the back wheels fitting properly. Russ im going to give you a PM about some other Mondial specific questions if you dont mind as well. Thanks, Dave
How do you guys like these shiney, original '89 Mondial t Cab rims? Too bad there is a foot of snow on the ground here, otherwise I wouldn't let the 10 degrees F temperature bother me! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm usually not as taken by chromed wheels, but I must say those look pretty good. How did you get that done?
Good Morning Russ, If my memory serves me correctly, the crome wheels were an OEM option on the original car. From the picture in your profile, it looks like you've seen snow in your neighbourhood before?
