Finally I got all 52 volumes of Forza. Bought some from Forza directly, some on ebay and some from collectors. Wasn't cheap, but the collection is complete. Along with an index.

Excellent. I was lucky and bought the first issue on the rack and have gotten it ever since.

One thing I discovered on my chase was that actually #2 is more rare than #1. Forza knew that #1 was only sold in stores so they made bigger numbers of it than of the following volumes, which you could get through subscription.

I had talked to the editor on the phone and his story was that a bunch of #2 issues were in a flood or fire damage situation, so the ones on the newsstand were it. None sitting in the warehouse.

This was a few years back when only about a dozen issues were out. There was a while that you could get any issue except #2 from Forza.

    # 1 was printed in a much larger quantity than # 2 as they were giving away the first issue to get the magazine known.

You'll generally will pay more for a # 2 issue.

    Forza # 2 is in stock @ US$ 164.99, shipping included.

    Hi tifosi,

What kind of index did you get? Something from the publisher or was it homegrown? Is it something you can make copies of?

    Cheers-

It is an excel sheet, which I'm happy to share. Basically the same info as in the short Forza reviews of the older mags.

I'd be interested in a copy of that Excel Index too. Is it a big file?

I've got every issue. One day back in '96, went into my local mag store, scanning the shelves when the red cover caught my eye. Surprisingly, I missed #12 and hadn't really made any effort to look for it. On one day of my trip to England in '01, I went into an automotive bookstore in London and casually looked through the rack of used mags... Guess which one I stumbled onto? ;-) Only back issue of Forza they had!

Alright gang, I've sent out the index to six of you by email.

So if you don't receive it today, send me another email please.

The hard to find issues can also be found at www.albaco.net. Interestingly I found #10 on there for less than it went for at an auction on ebay.
    :)

Like Mule, my first one was off the rack, subscription began with #2. I've lost one, I think #14. I'll check to be sure and see if someone can help fix the gap.

You can just call Forza for #14. Won't cost you much at all. Do it now, while it is still avail. I waited too long.

Actually I have a spare #7. Not in perfect shape, but readable. Let me know if you're interested.

Somebody was nice enough to part with a spare #2 and so I'm happy if I can help somebody else complete their collection.

Let's not mix things up here. #2 I don't have for sale.

I have #7 if that makes somebody happy.
