If you had $1,000,000 burning a hole in your pocket and wanted to own some F-Cars, what would be in your collection?

Let's assume that if you have $1MM for acquisition, operating costs and maintenance are not going to be an issue. Let's also assume that you are going to buy a reasonably usable car, not a basket case GTO or something (assuming such a thing exists anymore!).

All prices are open to challenge.

Options I can think of range from blowing the whole wad on an SWB to buying a 308 in every possible color...

    My list is as follows:

    500SF (Superfast) $350k
    550 Barchetta $250k
    456GT $70k
    250GT/L (Lusso) $200k
    360 Coupe $130k

    1)F40 - 300k. It will be my track *****

2)330 GTS - 200k. My touring and cruising car that I will drive a few days a week and show at the concours.

3)355 GTS (6 speed) - 80k. This will be the one to beat the crap out of on the race track and the street...a nice fun car to toss around a bit.

4)360 Challenge - 160k. Another fun, dedicated track car.

5)575M - 225k. Nice modern touring car with that special 12 cyl. grunt.

6)With the remaining 35k, I would build a beautiful showroom to house my cars...with a nice loft complete with a big screen projection screen to watch the F1 races and host Ferrari events in. I would also attempt to build my own small, but fun personal road course on my property.
