Hello All, I need to fix my center console driving light switch on my '86 328. Currently if you press mine, it turns the driving lights on, but then the switch doesn't stay all the way 'down' and the driving lights shut off. If you continue to press the switch down, you can keep the lights on, but I'm certainly not going to do that for very long. I'm assuming that taking the console apart and removing the switch will shed some light on this issue, but before I start tearing into it, I thought I'd ask a few questions: 1) Can the switch be removed without removing the entire console? 2) Is this a normal issue? Do experienced folks have some things I can look for? If this is normal, should I expect to buy a new switch? If so, are there any places besides Ferrari to get a new one? 3) Any good write ups on removing/disassembly of the console? Thanks! Battman
Here's an old thread when I got stuck removing mine - PM me if you need any help with anything. Those back rocker switches just push up from the bottom. I'm guessing you could get them out without removing everything else. http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=696&highlight=328+center+console
