I watched Bob Keeshan's show religiously when I was a kid. Did you?
Me and Bunny Rabbit and Mr. Green Jeans. And remember the sounds his scissors and paper used to make when he was doing crafts?? Loved it.
Um... i was a waiter at a restaurant called Mr. Green Jeans, in a mall called the Galleria in White Plains... Does that count...?
Man, I am getting older. My favorite chactor was Mr. Moose with the running ping pong ball gag. sigh....
i still have Bob"s autograph from when i lived in hollywood as a child. he was really nice and will be missed.
I feel older today. First Mr Rogers now Captain Kangaroo..... Anyone know how Bob McAllister is doing? What a drag.... DL ps....I couldn't tell you for the life of me who Bozo was!
Bruce, Yeah. He was the host of Wonderama. I didn't know he was a child molester! ...or was it the other guy? Holy sh*t, nothing is sacred. Pee Wee seems "G" rated now. DL
DON'T LAUGH! Remember Romper Room? If I was only about 30 at the time. Ms. Nancy was a babe!.." I see DES, I see BRUCE, I see Darth, I see............
Yep, I put it in my forum..... Damn...Somewhere in Heaven, it's raining ping-pong balls. A hell of a wonderful life lived. DrS
Ping pong balls... hmm i have a funny story about ping pong balls and a hooker in thailand... it was raining ping pong balls that night!
It is funny you mention that. The magic ring thing used on romper room for years, where she could see Mildred and Bobby and Velveeta...was recently stolen. That actually made national news.
worlds ghettoest mall. i stopped going there when people got stabbed and shot due to something gang related about 6 or 7 yrs ago. Also the Westchester is a nicer, better mall and only a little farther away. Now that i drive i no longer have to rely on the train taking me to the galleria. anyway, when i was growing up i dont think capt kangaroo was on the air.
