Newman high centered on a rock... He backed up onto it and ripped his exhaust off... all 4 tires were spinning since hes locked front and rear.

My four wheeling has been limited to driving around the Arctic Circle. No rocks, but miles and miles of dirt, snow, glaciers, and tundra. Completely different setup than rock crawling.

But my friends in Alaska have done the Outback Challenge and Malaysion Rainforest Challenge in their Jeeps. See www.northern4x4.com under events for some neat pictures and Jeeps.

It's not my cup of tea but my brother is into that sort of thing. Here are a couple pictures of his Scout last summer. Right now it's being upgraded to Rockwell ?2 1/2? ton axles, hydraulic steering and 44s.

that's sweet. not so much rock crawling because we didn't have much of that back home in hawaii. but we had lots of mountains and rivers and mud and sand to deal with. we have a LR Disco S2 so that thing pretty much takes us everywhere. when i get back there during the summer i'll be sure to post some pics now i know some people are interested.

I used to do some 4 wheeling years ago. I just bought a Wrangler last weekend so I'm looking to get back into it. If there are any 4 wheeling fans in the STL area, drop me a line...

I'm starting to build up my 05 Excursion 4x4 diesel

Going to add big tires, winch, the whole package etc

Here in FL I suppose I'll have to go mudding or drive in the sand.

Not too many rocks to crawl on around here
